Yes, you could be pregnant. Buy a HPT tomorrow and see. Also, make a doctors appt on Monday to be sure.

Good luck either way :)

Well not every body is the same but I'm almost 9 months pregnant and I did not have any symptoms until I was about one mouth and they were some what similar to yours my breast didn't get tender until a little later though. Also I had a friend who took a pregnancy test that read negative, but it turned out that she really was. Although some times you can miss your period due to stress, physical training and stuff I feel that your best bet is to go to the doctor to be completely accurate.

Good luck!!!

You could very well be pregnant...My first two hpts were negative and then third one showed a faint positive. A lot of women don't produce enough HCG at the beginning of their pregnancies to show up on the hpt. Wait a few more days and take it again.

I also had what felt like menstrual cramps during the first three months of my pregnancy. The spotting could be from the fertilized egg implanting into your uterine lining.

You took a pregnancy test and it was negative? Thats tough, you have some pregnancy symptoms but they could also be signs of PMS. I would take another test to be sure. Sounds like you're stressing and that can sometimes delay your period. If the second test comes back negative and still no period I would call the Gyno to be sure. When you take the secong test be sure to take it first thing in the morning thats when pregnancy hormones are strongest. Good luck!

I took a hpt test and it turned out neg. Than a week later I took another one and it turned out positive. The whole spotting could have been implantation bleeding. Because that only lasts a day. I would take another test. Tests can be wrong too, because I was actually pregnant with twins! If it comes out neg. again I would go to the doctor.

try to test in the morning with your first pee. it has the most hcg levels in it. as far as the spotting goes, it may be implantation bleeding. when the egg implants in your uterus, it irritates it and can cause some bleeding. the metal taste, i had the same taste when i was early in pregnancy and i too was VERY moody! it actually caused my boyfriend to break up with me for a little bit. that is how bad it was. i thought i was getting my period, but there was nothing.

like i said before, try to test in the morning. if nothing happens, i would wait a few days to a week and test again. it may be too early to tell yet.

good luck with everything. hope all goes well for you.

You really need to retest, it may have been too soon to pick up the level of HCG in your system. You should try testing with your first morning pee and if it still negative you need to go see a doctor, well you will need to go to a doctor either way. Good luck with everyone and BTW that spotting you are talking about could be implantation bleeding.

It is possible, but 1 week late isnt huge. High stress, exercise and diet can effect you timing of your period. You could also be menstrating right now because most of you symtoms are also consistant with that. But for your safety and the safety of a potential child, you NEED to see your doctor. They can do a blood test that is more sensitive than the home tests. Best of luck

I would suggest you take another pregnancy test (one of the "high end" ones that costs slightly more than the generic/store brands). I would take it first thing in the morning, as the "pregnancy hormones" are generally more concentrated in your urine then. If it comes back negative, I would suggest scheduling an appointment with your OBGYN to find out for sure. Good luck!

you're only a week late, so an over the counter pregnancy test wouldn't show up as positive yet. You need to wait at least two weeks. If you're really worried, consider scheduling a blood test either at your doctors office or planned parenthood if you don't have insurance. Good luck!
