Could i still be pregnant and it just hasn't shown up?

You can't know you're pregnant the next day. Often, you don't actually get pregnant the day you have sex. Sperm can live inside you for as long as six days before dying, and even after the sperm and egg unite, it takes a few days for the embryo to implant in your uterine lining. It has to be implanted for a few days before it makes enough hcg to show up positive on a pregnancy test. The earliest you can get an accurate result is nine days after sex, but it could be as many as 19, depending on your body. Take a urine test at home when your period is due, because it's very possible you're pregnant, or that you are going to be.

Wait until four days after the day your period should have started. I find it rather odd that a doctor would perform a blood test the next day!

absolutely.
a blood test wouldn't give you a positive result that quickly. Most tests you have to be at least two weeks after a missed period for it to result in a positive. Although, blood tests tend to show up faster... you would still need more time. good luck!

Unless technology has changed, that's too soon to get a result. You should just take "Plan B" the morning after pill within 72 hours and you won't have to worry.

it will take at least 2 weeks to find out if you are pregnant or not.wait a little while its all about waiting when you are pregnant or when you think your pregnant good luck

you wouldnt be pregnant yet. You dont become pregnant the second you have sex. It CAN take a few days to actually become pregnant.
