I'm only 22wks pregnant and started to leek.... is this normal? I looked around online and hear that it's normal at about 36 wks.... but why is it starting so early.

Is it both clear, and then yellowish milky color? If so, it's colostrum, and it is totally normal. You probably know, but colostrum is the first milk that your baby gets. I don't think I saw it that soon, but it was much earlier than 36 weeks as well.
There's no medical concerns as to why you have it early, it's just hormonal.
By the way, I was afraid I would somehow "run-out" or something bad like that before the baby arrived. She is four months now and eating like crazy! You might want to invest in some breast pads, like Medula's, just in case they squirt squirt.

Yes that is normal to some and actually it is a good thing. I am 24 weeks along with my 3rd child and I started doing that too. I went to my normal appointment and asked my doctor about it and she told me that I am a good candidate for breast feeding. So do not worry, there is nothing wrong, and if you plan on breast feeding, at least you know now that you are in good shape to get the ball rolling!! Good Luck and I hope I was able to help you.

Oh yeah. You can start to leak from your breasts when you're in the second trimester. It's not milk, though, it's probably colostrum. You won't have real milk until probably a day or two after baby comes.

yes this is totally normal! Be happy that you are lactating early, you will have a better chance at breast feeding, since your milk is getting ready now.

Its fine, theres nothing to worry about. I have talked to many people and they have said they started leaking early. My sister started leaking at 15 weeks with her first child. i think i started leaking around 28-30 weeks.

yes it is normal. i started producing colostrum at 18 weeks! some women don't start until later in their pregnancy. they say the earlier you start the more milk you will have.

yes..this happens to some women. I had this happen to a friend of mine on her first pregnancy and she was only 12 weeks pregnant.
