how do they feel? im at 35 weeks and i can barely walk becuase of constant lower back pain that just started this past weekend, but thats just it its constant plus ive been getting the worst braxton hicks contractions but mainly at night. im just wondering what back labor feels like?

I am on birth control,,,Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo. There are 4 stages,,,light blue, medium blue, dark blue, then green for when you are on your period. I am on the green ones right now,,,and have not started my period this month however I spotted a whole bunch last week while on the dark blue ones. Is that considered my period??? Can you sometimes start your period before the actual green pills? I'm so confused,,,never happened before! Please explain what is going on with my body!!!

I have had nausea for about 1 week now, and i am supposed to be having my period now and i don't have anything but a light bleeding of blood that looks old, not fresh, and it is not heavy. My breasts hurt like normal, but no real cramping like i usually do. I am worried i may be pregnant...am i? Can i still get a light period like this? or is this due to birth control pills? ive taken them one month before in the past and it didnt affect my period and its regularity. i missed one day of taking the pill this entire month, it is possible i may have gotten pregnant or that th epill just didnt work.

Please tellme of your experiences

(don't tell me to get a test ..etc. i know i need to do that, but i want to wait a bit)

12 days late. .3 test neg. taking another one when im 2 weeks late then going to the doctors. i have cramping, gas, the other day got a nose bleed out of no where which i never get nose bleeds, some pains in stomach and abdomen, my face is breaking out bad, i dont know what else this could be my face never breaks out bad either and i always use face stuff that helped before but isnt working now, just looking for some thoughts til i take my next test

I just had a baby 2 months ago I had intercourse like a month after I had my baby but me and my husband didnt use protection but he pulled out but I dont know Ive been feeling a little bit funny I dont know if its just the thought that I might be pergnant again or that I am I have no clue but I still had my period and I had it for like 2 weeks after that so what are my chances???

hey guys im a 17yr old gurl and im on birth control for nearly 2 yrs now and 3 weeks ago i was starting my new pack of birth control after my 7 day break but i was really sick, tempurture and flu i think, but i felt better and i made love with my fiance, i was taking small dosage pills for my flu but stopped when i stared my birth control again, recently i have noticed im eating a lot more and gained a few pounds, coud i be pregnant im due my perid on tuesday

Today is the first day I do not want to eat and I was disgusted trying to down my ceral. I ate as much of it as I could but yuck!!

I have my first real appoinment with my ob/gyn and I was wondering what will happen. I did blood work already and had to miss my last two appointments because of the od/gyn being out the frist time and the second one because my house pile blow. I'm kind of scared and worried.

anyone else depressed during their pregnancy? I am high risk but I am sure everything will be fine. I deal wth bi-polar but because I am pregnant, I am not able to take my meds..anyone else deal with bi-polar and had some bouts of depression?? what did you do to get through it and was your baby affected by it at all??? thanks for the comments in advance.
p.s. don't misunderstand I love my baby and really happy o be having her/him.

Several questions below:

I recently learned that Triclosan a common ingredient in almost every antibacterial hand soap & body wash on the market may have teratogenic effects.

I also learned that pregnant women should not use products containing Salicylic Acid which many face washes and zit creams do.

Now, I'm wondering if the hand sanitizer I use is safe. It has Ethyl and Isopropyl Alcohol as some of the main ingredients. Are these absorbed into the skin? Can they cause Fetal Alcohol Syndrome??

Why doesn't anyone tell pregnant women this stuff??? I'm nearly 7 months pregnant and have been using products with these ingredients for years. Do you think my baby is at risk? Has anyone out there used these products and had healthy babies?

I recently became sexually active (in January). Before Jan 2007 my periods were usually of 5 days (exact) and they would begin as heavy for first 2 days and then decrease the following three and end at the end of the 5th day.

After when I became sexually active, I found that my periods have changed. I now get my periods for exactly 3 days, heavy flow on the first day and decreasing on the next 2 and then stops. I also have spotting for 2-3 days before periods which was normally not present before.

I have had three such periods (3 months) and I am worried. Although, we used condoms (everytime) and I did 2 pregnancy tests 1 day before my periods and they were negative. Am I pregnant or do preiods change after first time sex?

Please help.

With my son, I had a 37 hour labor with 8 hours of pushing before they used the forceps to deliver my son. I had to have a blood transfusion, and was in the hospital for almost a week. We both almost died. My doctor assured me that it was just a complication, and that it could happen to anyone. Well, the postpartum was terrible, and I had about three weeks of horrible anxiety and depression, not to mention on-and-off bouts of both for the past few years.

So, you can understand why it took 8 years for me to decide to do it again.

This time, there have been no complications so far (almost 30 weeks and counting), with an exception of a really fast heartbeat. My doc doesn't seem too concerned.

Now that it's getting closer to D-Day, I'm worried that this time something really bad is going to happen, or that I'm going to go crazy during postpartum. Did anyone else have these fears, and if so, what was your experience? How did you keep from freaking out?

I'm 23 weeks pregnant with my first. It's a boy. His father and I are very close and we've been dating for 4 years. We are very much in love and are so happy for our new little boy. I'm just scared to be a mom. I want him to be a happy baby. I want to take him to do things. I don't want him to resent me. I want to be able to take care of him and soothe him when he cries. Will this come naturally cause thinking about it now...Really, I can't even IMAGINE what this will be like with a brand new baby in my life. It's impossible for me to imagine, but I already love him so much and I can't wait until he is born. Do all first time mom's feel this way?

One of our friends said it's because she's pregnant. Another said it's because she's have her "time of the month" during sex and the blood has to come out somewhere. Someone else said that it's just totally normal or might be acid reflux. Anyway, he wants to know whether it should be OK to take her to the prom that way.
