mine felt like a gas bubble .. but I never got the urge to release gas.
also, once in a while I feel a "thump" on my inner tummy (like when you take your middle finger and flick it off your thumb .. but its on the inside).
its kinda described as one piece of popcorn popping.
it's an amazing feeling! :)
good luck! God bless!
PS - I started feeling it around 18 weeks, I'm now 23 weeks.

At first I could only feel it when I was sitting up and it felt like a little muscle spasm. To be extra sure it was a kick I would lie on my back and put a piece of toilet tissue on my stomach just below my belly button where I was getting the movements. the tissue would move and it was amazing I could watch it for hours. Couldnt see it with the naked eye tissue was great.

I'm 36 weeks pregnant and I can remember my first kicks like it happened yesterday. To me it felt like somebody flicking me but from the inside. That would be my best way to describe it. It does kind of feel like gas bubbles like everyone says but I think it is more like a flicking feeling!!
Congrats and Good Luck!!!

I would definitely describe it as small butterflies flying around in your tummy. They're just very small flutters at first. Eventually, you will have no doubt that the baby is moving around. It gets to the point where someone can be sitting across from you and actually see the baby moving around.

For me it felt like a muscle twitch, like the ones you get in an eye or finger, but lighter and inside.
So many others told me they felt 'fluttering' that with my first I was not sure it was kicking until much later (like near 20 wks).
Congratulations!

To me it felt like when you get a muscle twitch in the corner of your eye...but it's down low on your belly instead. I first felt her at 16.5 weeks but it was very soft...as she grew her kicks got harder and it felt like giant muscle twitches.

It was wierd, It kinda felt like a muscle spasm, but then, it felt like little butterflies fluttering, then it just gets harder and harder as your baby grows bigger and stronger.

a lot of people describe them as feeling like butterflies or bubbles, i guess everyone is different. it never at all felt like that to me. it feels like little thumps or twitches. its really a cools feeling. the bigger the baby gets the more thumps you will feel and then you will feel them more often. enjoy them!!
