hey guys im a 17yr old gurl and im on birth control for nearly 2 yrs now and 3 weeks ago i was starting my new pack of birth control after my 7 day break but i was really sick, tempurture and flu i think, but i felt better and i made love with my fiance, i was taking small dosage pills for my flu but stopped when i stared my birth control again, recently i have noticed im eating a lot more and gained a few pounds, coud i be pregnant im due my perid on tuesday

If you had sex, you coudl be pregnant. I was on the Pill for 9 years and still managed to get pregnant while on it (I took it faithfully every day). However...why don't you wait until you do or don't get your period before you start to worry. You could also be experiencing PMS

Yes, you can be pregnant.
Other meds can reduce the potency of birth control pills.
Go to gyn and get a check up as you want to make certain you do not continue your pills if pregnant. A pregnancy test may bot be accurate. A gyn can tell even if the test is negative, due to color changes in cervix when pregnant. This can only be detected with an exam.

You have to wait to see if your period will come. It is possible to get pregnant on birth control but it depends on how well you use the pills as with perfect use they're only 99% effective. If you don't get your period, take a pregnancy test and watch for other common pregnancy symptoms.

It's very difficult to get pregnant while on the pill. If you do not start your cycle, take a test. You are probably just getting over your illness. You probably lost weight when you were sick and are now gaining it back.

I was 19 and on the pill when I got pregnant with my daughter. If you were taking an antibiotic, that can make your bc pills less effective. Simple answer-yes, you could be pregnant. I have a lovely little girl conceived while on Ortho-Tri Cyclen.

It is possible to become pregnant while on the pill, especially when taking antibiotics. Although, I doubt you'd be gaining weight that early in pregnancy.
If you're late, buy a test....but you're probably just in the PMS craving stage of your period :)

There is not a full proof method of preventing pregnancy other than Abstinence. I would suggest you take a test. Wait until the first day of your missed period before you test for the most accurate results!

if u were on antibotics for ur flue then yes u could be preg, antibiotics make the pills not work. i would just say waitit out and take a test if ur period doesnt come

Take an early test, but you probably aren't. You are probably just recovering from your flu.

its possible i would just wait a week or so if you dont get your pd take a test if neg. wait another week if still neg. i would go to a doctor to see whats going on.good luck
