Sometimes. Hopefully that's as bad as it will get for you. Just as all pregnancies are different, the way that each woman experiences pregnancy symptoms is different as well. Morning sickness can range from loss of appetite, aversion to food, nausea brought on by food smells, or just full blown vomiting all day no matter what.
Though it can be pretty hard to eat in the first trimester, you did well by making an attempt. You need those nutrients, and it always seemed to me that the longer I went without eating, the harder it was to make myself eat, and the worse my tummy felt.

Congratulations and good luck!

Oh yes...everything about food makes you say yuck, I hope it doesnt last long. I had "morning sickness", which doesnt only affect you in the morning by the way, for 6 months. It's not fun. But as long as you take your vitamins and eat as much as you can stomach your baby will be fine. I lost almost 30 pounds in my pregnancy and I gave birth to a perfectly healthy, happy 7 pound 2 ounce little girl.

Yeah, that happened to me. There are some foods that I can not eat no matter what (even though my morning sickness has calmed down.) For example, red meat. It truly truly disgusts me! I just tried to find foods that I did enjoy eating, thankfully that's been fruit and veggies for me. I did try eating a burger the other day and got sicker than a dog. Lesson learned!

Same thing happened for me. Lots of food disgusted me while I was pregnant. Weird things too. I could not eat pork, anything previously frozen, Chinese food, chicken and beef was only tolerated, etc... it was awful. Cooking was torture for me too. And I had the most horrible morning sickness. It lasted until I was 8 months and then it only died down a bit. I suffered until the day my baby was born. But I would do it all over again!

It will go away after the first trimester...

They say to try to eat crackers if you are feeling queasy.

My sicknesses were more specific. Certain foods just made me ill. Seafood and the smell of it it when I was pregnant with my first set me off!

Just stay away from foods that yuck you out. Try to substitute them with healthy food that don't make you ill. Maybe one of those healthy juices with all the vitamins from Jamba Juice or Juice Stop?

Morning sickness is different for everyone!
Eat something you really want and be prepared for the tummy issues. Snack during the day with fruit, veggies, etc. It may take time for your body to balance this out.
Congrats to you and GOD BLESS!!!
