that would be stupid to take the pill if ur pregnant, whats the point

Contraceptive birth control pills work to prevent pregnancy. If you are already pregnant (and have had a positive test on a pregnancy test), the birth control pill will not end your pregnancy.
All you would be doing is subjecting the fetus to hormones which can cause problems for it in high enough doses if taken long enough. But they would not cause an abortion, if that's what you are asking.

No, the Pill doesn't work if you are pregnant. The pill is used to prevent pregnancy. If you are already pregnant it cannot work. You should not take the pill if you are pregnant since it can affect the developing fetus.

The birth control pill is to help prevent pregnancy but if you are already pregnant than there is not point in taking it,plus it is not healthy for your baby to still be taking the pill.

No. but continuing the use of birth control pills will really cause a lot of problems for your baby....Stop!! If you are already pregnant you didnt take them properly in the first place..And if you DID, God has taken over and you are MEANT to have this child. I think the obvious answer is no. If you are already pregnant, the pill did not do its job (I know, this happened to me!) It also will not make you abort the baby, but it's best to stop taking it immediately if you are pregnant.

If you need to ask I'm not sure you should be taking it!
The pill uses the same hormones to stop ovulation as the body does to stop it during a pregnancy so taking it is pointless and could even be dangerous!

the whole rease for the pill is to STOP you getting pregnant so the answer is no if you are already pregnant whats the point of poisening your body any more

Is that not a bit pointless? Unless you're taking it for some hormonal reason, in which case I wouldn't think it was safe. Ask your doctor. If you're pregnant you should be seeing more of him/her anyway, but stop in the meantime just incase!
