What do I do if I got into a girl fight and knocked someone out but they hit me in the stomack and I am pregnant and now have a really bad bruise and it hurts really bad????

My period was about 4 days late, so i took a pregnancy test. Actually i took two different test. I didn't believe it when the first one showed up positive. I have my first doctors appt. this Thursday. I'm both excited and scared. What should i expect from my first doctor visit.

i went to my doctor to have my marina coil removed after 2 and a half yrs, which was ment to be a 20 min appointment, when the doc pulled at the strings it hurt alittle then she tried again still hurt more my coill had got stuck in my cervicx, so i was sent th the hospital where they tryed pulling it out the pain was excruciating i did cry iv been through child birth with no pain relife this was bad, i nearly passed out, any way i ended up having to go under a general to have it removed, will this effect conception and how do i know when to start as i hav'nt had a period for 2 & a half yrs how long does it take for things to go back to normal.

I had a miscarriage last year after we had told people and I don't want to go through that again. How far along should I be before we tell anyone? I am currently almost 6 weeks along and we have our first doctor visit on Friday.

For future appointments, what do they do?
Is anything painful and/or uncomfortable?
Do you have to change into a gown?

I am only 1 day past my due date. Yesterday I had an internal exam and found out I was 1cm dilated. They did however say my blood pressure is up 150/100. It then came back down to 132/82 later on in the OB office. They told me they wanted to induce by the end of the week and later called me to tell me that there are no spots available for induction. (our city is overpopulated and going through a health care crisis). So they told me to go on bedrest and to return Thursday to get re-assessed. I then started having bleeding this morning which has been on/off all day. I know that it is normal following an internal exam, but everything right now is freaking me out. I am just so worried that this wait will cause something to go wrong. A friend of mine just had a still birth at 41 weeks and this is all I can think about. Please, how the heck do I stay calm in this situation? Any advice will help...

My friend (my husband's brothers wife) demanded I have a baby shower among other things which I did not want as I do not have time for and she has organised it to be held at my house. I will be 8 months pregnant when this happens in a couple of weeks. She is also telling everybody that I have demanded this off her, I am stressing her out and I have become deranged. How do I deal with this situation without involving her husband or my husband's family full stop??? If I cancel, it will create a bigger problem.

I had a cervical exam last Tuesday, Saturday, and Monday, and again today. On Tuesday and today it was by my doctor whom is a male, and the other two times were lady nurses at the hospital. My doctor said I was a 1 cm and 50% eff., on Sat I was told I was 2cm, and 70%, and on Monday I was 3cm and 80% eff. Well I went to my doc again today, and he said I am still a 1cm and 50% and have not changed since last Tuesday. What is the deal?? Has this happened to anyone else? How can I not have changed when I was told lastnight I was 3 and 80? Does it have to do with hand/finger size and he would have larger hands. Who do you think I should believe.

Yesterday I had some real severe abdominal cramps and was wondering whether this might have been implantation cramping.?
Has anyone experienced such cramps? It was so bad that I couldn't walk and had to lie down. I don't think it would be period cramps as just had one about 2 weeks ago. What else could it be ?

Okay my husband and i have been trying to have a baby since august...im completely off my birth control for about a year now and i was supposted to start on march 11 and i still havent...

usually when i start its a few days earlier than my last period and i dont feel any symptoms of fixing to start my period...i still havent started yet and i took a pregnancy test on the 12th and it came up as negative....

so could i be pregnant?

I am 39 weeks prego starting today. Back at the start of my 36 week appt, this was 3 weeks ago on a Tuesday from today. The Dr did the strap-b test and also checked my cervix. I was at that time told to be 70% effaced, 1/2 cm dialated and baby's head was down.
Then I thought I may have made some progress in dialation, but I guess not. Well then my start of 38 weeks which was last Tuesday, actually the nurse practitioner midwife checked my cervix. She said I dialated to about 1 cm, was between 70 and 80% effaced, and the baby's head was very very low. She said his head being real low and my effacement being thin, could mean labor is real soon. Well my due date is march 20th. and I had to go back and see my Dr on friday. She read the notes from the midwife and started saying 1/2-1 cm dialated so not much more, she said still looks like 70% effaced and head was very low. Why did Dr. say something little different from what the midwife told me? Is it possible I am 1 cm, even

I had 3 misscarriages in 2 years and now i am 31 week pregnant for the 1st time . Today i had scan and seen the doctor. He offerd me to induce my labour in 38 weeks of pregnancy. He said we do offer becoz u got misscarriage history. I am realy confused why he offered me that? what should i do? is it dangrouse not to have induce laboure fror the baby or me ? what r side effets of induce labour? PLZ HELP ME?

i'm scheduled to see the ENT (ear, throat, nose) doctor next month. however, i'm 8 days late on my pd, i've been having unprotected intercourse with my long time bf of 6 yrs. i plan on taking a test when i'm exactly 2 wks late. i wanted to know if anyone has done the surgery while being pregnant and if it would harm the baby?

pregnant, I'm a heavier girl. I have a heavy chest to begin with...., (42DD) and they kind of rest on my upper tummy when i sit at work. I wear a sports bra, but i can only wear it so tight for support to the point that it doesn't hurt! To be honest, no matter how supportive it is, they still are heavy and rest on the top of my stomach. I am taking every precaution during this pregnancy not to have anything go wrong. Is my chest resting on my tummy going to have any bearing on the baby at this point in time?

I am 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant and today i noticed a brown like discharge that turned to light red and now seems to be brown again. I called my doctor and a nurse was supposed to call me back but hasn't. I called twice and now the office is closed. Im 30 weeks this weeks pregnant and have started getting Braxton hicks on and off for the last couple of weeks. All the books/websites say they shouldn't hurt,but mine really do! The cramping won't subside until Ive stood up slowly and gently, and they are really really uncomftable. I spoke to doc today and he says everythings fine, but i wondered if anyone else has suffered painful ones?

Okay, i have had a rough pregnancy from the beginning.. I have always been stressed & had a hard time gaining weight they would always hook me up to IV's cause i was so sick.. ( my b*f left me 4 days after we found out, moved outta the house forcing me to move home with my parents n my mom does daycare.. ssooo im pretty stressed.. I also lost my job when i was 13 weeks cause i was always sick.. = no mooney for me . ) Well I have been 1 cm dialated for 2 weeks now.. And i have just been having such bad back pains that i cant sleep @ night @ all.. Im lucky if i get 2 hours.. And its getting hard to eat stuff & not feeling like crap afterwards..

I have had a hard time breathing n moving around. My stomache is soo sore i dont know why? People say cause its stretched but it is reallly bad that i cant move. I am also getting very very depressed again that i am in tears every day again.. I really dont think i can take it anymore ..

Do you think maybe my doctor will induce me?
