im scared i may be pregnant
im not on the pill
and cant get it
im only 16
i dont know if i should go get the morning after pill
but i cant get to planned parenthood b4 it closes
im scared
if we use a codom.. and it didnt break
can i still get pregnant?
because he checked and it didnt break

Last week on 6th march my OBGYN said my cervix was abt 1.5cm dialated, so accordingly how long does it take approx for the cervix to dialate as much so that the labor will start? Are there any home remedies or something that i can delay the labor from 17th march to 22nd march? I am really scared and want my mom to be here with me, but bec of visa issues she cant travel internationally and cant reach before 22nd! Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreiated!

I had my genetics appointment today and found out that I have a higher risk of having a baby with down syndrom. They calculated it based on how many weeks they thought I was... But something happend at the ultrasound they found out that I am a full 2 weeks less then what they thought I was... So instead of being 20wks+1day I am 18wks+1day... And that would make my tri-screening technically invalid because I was tested to early... I would like to know If any one knew if tomorrow that I go in for another blood test that I still have the same chance of getting the 1 in 72 or it could become less??? Please any help is wanted... If you had any stories of how it changed or how the test was wrong...

I found out I was having a boy =) and the ultra sound technician told me she didnt find any defects on the ultrasound that some Down syndrom babies have... I was really devasted when I heard this... First I just wanted a girl now I just want my baby boy to be healthy...

Please help me....

Hi! I'm 4 and a half weeks pregnant, and I was just wondering if the metallic taste is normal or not. I get it when I drink certain milks or certain foods. It seems like my taste is enhanced so that I can taste the iron and all of the metals in the food perfectly. Today I was drinking milk and I asked someone to taste it, and they said it tasted fine, while I felt like I was drinking liquid pennies! Is this normal? I know some people get it as just a taste in their mouth, but I have it only when eating certain things! (Any personal stories are welcome!)

abortions?


im 14 and no im not pregnant. im doing a report.

i dont think there's anything wrong with abortions personally. I think that in some situations it can be sort of a good choice. Like a 14 year old girl that lives poor. she gets an abortion for the better. she has no money or resources to take care of a baby what so ever. and adoption is not all that great either because children just get put into foster homes or put up for adoption, and especially nowadays people are wanting to have their own biological children and therefore the children spend maybe their first 6 years of life in a foster home. i would rather not make the baby suffer beforehand then leave the baby in someone elses hands to take care of. i know that it may be alive but it doesnt know whats going on and it doesnt know pain.

I am exhibiting possible signs of pregnancy, but I am also one month from my last period. I thought I was late, but since February is shorter, I've decided to give myself a couple extra days. I took a pregnancy test two days ago, but the tests that test before a missed period have a lower accuracy rate of catching the hormone. That test was negative, but the symptoms I'm having are a little different than my normal period symptoms.

Anyway, I'm wondering how many days is the best to wait after my missed period so I can take another test? In other words, when is the accuracy rate highest? (Yes, I will see a doctor if my period doesn't arrive and my symptoms continue)

Don't get me wrong I love him with all my heart!!! But man is he ever getting on my nerves. I'm usually pretty relaxed and don't seem to be very emotional. I've mabey had two whinny teary eyed mood swings other than that. I've kept the emotions on the down low. Horomones or not I want to get some serious space from him feels like I'm being smothered( the poor guy).How can I let him know to give me my space with out crushing his feeling?when all I want to do is walk away far away.I don't want it to turn into a arugument right now I can't handle that. Idea??? Remember, I'm trying to be thoughtful of how he's feeling to. I'm not a big Fat Meany.Lol

I know that you should do kegals to strengthen your vaginal muscles and such but although I know that you do what you would do as if you were stopping your urine flow but I always hear to hold that for so many seconds and I struggle to do this. I feel like I can only hold it for like 2 seconds, will that help at all and how do I hold it for longer????

Okay... I'm almost 19 weeks pregnant and my husband wants to name our baby boy ROCKY COVE.... I get to name the girl if we are having a girl and boy for him.... but I think that name is not nice. How can I convince him not to name our son that if we ever have a son. We'll find out in two weeks.

Ok here is my situation, When i did it 4 the first time i didnt use protection. He pulled out i know there is a thing called precum.....but i got my period it was a few days late but i got it....now its been 48 days since i first did it and they tell me that i can still be pregant even if i got my period.....so i bought some home pregnacy test and all 3 said negative. but i dont know if i should trust them beacusethey were the ones that cost really cheap...

Honestly ladies, am i just being a sook? I'm 35.5wks pregnant and i just can't handle it. EVERYTHING hurts - ankles (not swollen just painful), back (excruiciating), stomach, breasts, shoulders, thighs - everything. Sleep is just a no-go at the moment because no position is comfortable (i've tried them all!). I end up giving up in the early hours of the morn and will go sit on the couch and read (or feel sorry for myself). I am still working full time and so i'm like the living dead at work most days and i'm always so close to tears for no reason other than the fact that i'm tired and sore and just don't think i can do this anymore. i really do try to just "suck it up" and get on with it but it really is getting harder and harder these days. I just want to curl up and just pass out for like a week or two so i don't have to deal with it all!!!!

Am i just being a sook? Any advice?
