Tylenol is OK while you're expecting, but since Tylenol PM is a sedative, I wouldn't recommend it. Your Dr can give you a list of things that are OK, or perhaps write you a prescription for something safe--but remember that everything you take, your baby takes. Try a hot bath or a massage to relax. If it's a recurring problem, you can call your Dr's office before your appt next week-ask for his nurse and she will ask him and call you back. After hours the answering service will contact the Dr on call on your Dr if necessary. Good luck.

NO!! I put that in big letters so you would see it, I suffer from insomnia, found out I was pregnant so I stopped taking prescription pills and got tylenol PM because someone told me all tylenol products were safe. They were wrong, when I went to the doctor, he said anything with a sedative is not good during pregnancy. Also any tylenol other than just regular old tylenol, is not good, it has extra medicine in it that might not be good for the baby. Hold off untill you have spoken to your doctor. Also you are not supposed to take anything, unless absolutly necessary before 12 weeks, this includes tylenol.

All medications effect the baby, it's just some medications have more risks or effect than others. The best option is to not take any medication at all, that way there is no effect or risk to the baby. It's when you need the benefit more than the potential risks, that doctors say it's OK to take meds.

Do not take them. If you have a headache or trying to sleep take calcium with warm milk and eat a dinner with eggs and cheese. Take a nice warm bath with scented sea salts and candles with soothing music a nice way to make you sleepy and good for baby. Tylenol is bad for the liver and everything you take your baby gets it more Just a half of aspirin is acceptable plus that extra protein and calcium is good for mom and baby.

No, I never took any when I was pregnant but the Dr. told me it was ok to drink regular Tylenol but I never did. Just check with your Dr. first to be on the safe side. Good Luck!

My doctor said that Tylenol was the ONLY pain relieve that I could have. So I think that PM's would be fine.

Yes! All tylenol products are fine. But always check. And you dont have to wait all the time to ask your doctor. Call your local CVS or 24-hr pharmacy and ask them, they always know (im always calling.) My doctor suggested Tylenol PM to me because I had to stop panic attack med. immediatly when preg. and was having attacks and a really hard time sleeping, so said thats what i should take. Good luck to you.

I suggest asking your doctor before you take any medications. When I was pregnant, I did ask my doctor a list of medications that I could take.

My advice, as a mom, is don't take it. Try to find a more natural way, chamomile or cinnamon tea work great for relaxing and falling asleep. Better safe than sorry...
