Maybe pants and a shirt so if they want to listen to the heart beat it will be easy to get to your belly. If you are wearing a dress or overalls you would have to take them off or pull the dress up and need a sheet (they provide) to get to the belly. Have they done an internal, they would do at least one by this point and then you would have to remove everything from the waist down, except shoes and socks. Good Luck!

If all they have done so far is blood test then yes you should have to change into a gown because they will have to do an internal exam(they should have done that at your first prenatal appt.). My doctor also did a breast exam so I had to strip all the way down.
During the rest of your appts just wear what you are comfortable in and that can give the doctor easy access to your belly so you can be measured and listen to the heartbeat.

For my first visit and the last few weeks before I was due my doctor had me change into a gown. All the rest I was just wearing T-shirt and jeans. He did lift up my shirt to listen to my baby's heart beat, So maybe you don't want to wear a dress or something that would bare to much in the process of baring your stomach if you're feeling modest--oh, and once I was wearing a baggy sweater over a t-shirt and the nurse had me take the sweater off so she could check my blood pressure.

Don't wear any dresses or all in ones...could prove a bit embarassing and at this stage you don't need that....that's still to come (lol). So top and bottoms, whether it be trousers or skirt and you should be fine. You'll maybe have to pull your top up a bit (to just under your bra line) and maybe your bottoms down a bit to show your mini bump. Relax and enjoy. Good luck with it all...it's the best adventure you'll ever go on. (PS Don't think you'll need to gorgeous gown so don't worry about that one).

If this is your 1st appt you will have to change into a gown. other wise wear pant or shorts - not a dress because they will need your bare belly to check baby's heart rate. Loose top helps.

Nope, you shouldn't have to undress again until later in the pregnancy. For the next several visits you just wear whatever you want. Towards the end, I think starting with week 30, they check you every month. I'm at 23 weeks.

Just wear clothes...all you need to do is undo your pants so that they can measure the fundus. If they require you to take off your clothes they will supply you with a paper gown.

Just dont wear a dress because you will have to lift it up so they can check your belly and babys heartbeat. Just pants and a shirt is good.

I am at 24 weeks so I like to wear mommy to be jeans or stretch pants for comfort and a babydoll shirt but you can wear whatever you want. ;)
