Yesterday I had some real severe abdominal cramps and was wondering whether this might have been implantation cramping.?
Has anyone experienced such cramps? It was so bad that I couldn't walk and had to lie down. I don't think it would be period cramps as just had one about 2 weeks ago. What else could it be ?

It's "probably" NOT implantation cramps...my guess would be that you are probably nearing ovulation and are having what is commonly called ovulation pain or could have an ovarian cyst. If the cramping keeps up call your doctor right away. Other possibilities are that you had gas, are under alot of stress, have irritable bowel syndrome(it can mimic the cramps of labor even or maybe you exercised too hard and you muscles are letting you know. The possibilities are endless.

Oh boy...life was so much nicer when I got pregnant. In my time it took three months to verify a pregnancy and we did not have "I got pregnant this minute!" "I know because I said and feel life now!"
Now at 42 1/2 minutes into a pregnancy. Ok, go to your ob/gyn and get things verified, tested, ultrasounded, blood tested and rest assured at the outcome.
