I can't support abortion but I can tell you that there is NEVER a case for partial birth abortion to save the life and PHYSICAL health of a mother. I can give you 7 lies about abortion that cause people to support it.
1- Less abused, unwanted children, TRUTH: Since abortion was legalized, abuse cases have jumped about 300%!
2-Life and safety of mother, TRUTH: It's a very RARE instance that harming the child would safe the mother's life, most cases delivery of the baby would be of equal value- difference is whether the baby is delivered alive or dead.
3- Cases of Rape- TRUTH: Many raped women feel victimized twice, first by the rapist, second by the coerced abortion bc she'll be told that she won't love her child.
4- Cases of Incest, child will have deformities- TRUTH: Most cases, a child born to related parents WON'T have deformities
5-Child will end up in protective services- TRUTH: Millions of couples are wanting to adopt!!!
6- Child will have deformities- TRUTH: Many families have children who were "supposed to be deformed, who aren't and even if they are, they can lead productive great lives!!
7- I don't believe in it, but it's a woman's choice- TRUTH: IF you believe abortion is killing a baby and wrong, aren't you wrong for supporting someone else to kill theirs?

abortion can be considered murder but there are so many factors to consider... btw 7 may have been too many to ask for.
1. say the girl is a 9yr old (is possible) are you going to let a 9yr old give birth? she would most likely die from it and theres a bigger chance of her survival than the baby's at this point
2. rape. if the rapist has been caught or it is some form of incest or w/e it definetly isnt a good idea at all to let the baby live if it will be hated because it is a reminder of what had happened to the mother.
3. if the baby is known for sure to have a disease then it would definetly be better off in heaven straight off instead of living in a h377 on earth with a disease.
4. if the child has no chance of being born alive then dont put the mother through it.
resources to raise the baby definetly isnt an excuse. even though it would have to live a different kind of life it would still be alive. and mistakes definetly arent an excuse either. if two people werent careful and something happened, another couple who cant have a baby should have a chance to raise a child. although there are so many children forced to be orphans or foster children or adoption, they still have a small chance at a happy life. i dont support abortion, but i can see some of the reasons why it would be better. more people should learn about the subject before being too judgemental...

Do you really believe that this is as 'cut and dry' an issue as that? "7 GOOD reason", indeed. Come on. It's not that simple and you know it.
Many people seem to be against abortion in all circumstances without exception. Fair enough if that's your personal opinion, but let me ask you this hypothetical question.
If a young girl is raped, by her father or some other male relative, and becomes pregnant as a result of that, are you seriously telling me you would make her go through with the pregnancy?
Before anyone starts screeching at me, this sort of thing does happen, so it's a perfectly fair and sensible question.
Funny how I never get any answers to this question from the anti-abortion witch hunters who really ought to face reality.

I can t see one good reason for it i wouldn t blaime a woman for doing if she was raped but on the other hand there are plenty of people who can t have children would only be too happy to take in an unwanted child i think it is murder and should be made illegal and it is far too easy for some stupid person to walk in a clinic and kill a baby if you don t want a kid use contreception there should not be a get out clause for stupidity.

every one is entitled to their opinion and others shouldn't force theirs on them i.e campaigning outisde abortion clinics there are not seven reasons that matter only the one that makes the women decide to abort and that is all that counts ok people may do it for the wrong reasons and regret it for the rest of their life but it was their choice neither you or i can dictate how any one should make their own decisions and i have 2 children and have a friend who has had an abortion because it did not fit in with her life at the time but was supportive of her decision because i don't have to live with it and what a world they would be brought into !

Honestly I don't support abortion but I feel it is every mother's right to choose so long as it's not being used as birth control.
1) If the woman was raped I could understand
2) If it was an accident and is a one time thing I could deal with that
3) If there is something seriously physicaly wrong with the baby that will affect it's quality of life I could understand
4) If the mother found she had aids
5)If the mother found out her lover was her brother...it has happened
6) sometimes the timing just isn't right
7) If you could honestly be o.k. with yoursel choosing to kill a baby rather than give it to a loving home by placing up for adoption.
Most women who have abrtions don't even know how the procedure works and when they find out afterwards it causes them serious long lasting emotional distress. I would never abort a baby no matter the circumstances but some people feel that is their only choice and I feel as a woman she has the right to make that choice. So no matter your situation I hope you make an informed decision that you can live with.

Rape or Incest
Financially not stable to support or care for a child
Baby may have health problem
Feels unready for child/responsibility
Has all the children she wants
Relationship problem/Single motherhood
Interference with education/career plans
Not being mature or old enough for a child
There are many more. I support abortion. But it shouldn't be her means of birth-control. It should be the women's choice if she wants to have it or not. She's going to raise the child, she's going to have to drop everything to have a baby, so she should choose.

The legality of abortion is a legal issue, not a moral one. People need to understand that law are based on the law nothing else, and morality based laws are almost always overthrown in time -prohibition, sodomy, etc
1) The fetus has no rights under the law, if it did that would degrade the mother's rights. You could be forced to undergo tests that are dangerous but in vogue at the time. You could be forced to not undergo treatments that are beneficial to you and not the baby. You could be forced to undergo treatment that is for the benefit of the baby but is detrimental to you.
2) No one can be forced to go or not undergo a medical procedure for the benefit of another. You can not be compelled to donate blood, or an organ. Heck you can't even be compelled to donate organs when you are DEAD.

Rape,
disease (HIV which will be passed from mother to child), health risks to the mother,
quality of life for the child (if the child will be born with an affliction which will seriously impair its quality of life,
parental ability (for instance if the mother/father is unable or unwilling to provide proper care for the child as I feel it would be better to terminate prior to birth rather than let the child die through negligence or cruelty,
Poverty (if the child is likely to be porn into poverty for instance the famine in Ethiopia in which children were born into starvation and subsequently died)
the willingness of the mother to carry the baby to term (if the mother has no desire to carry the baby to term no amount of moral high ground will stop illegal and unsafe/traumatic abortions from happening)
they are all reasons whether they are 'Good' reasons in your opinion depends greatly on your position on this issue.

7. A child that has been raped

the woman has been raped-trauma
incest- genetic deformities
unfit mother-alcohilic/junkie
previous births-trauma from having kids brfore, painful birth maybe
i cant think of anymore but i beleive that abotions are a personal cecision that a person should not be judged on. i personally would'nt but i also wouldnt judge somebody else for having an abotion as it must be a hard choice to make and hard to live with.
