Pregnancy - March 2007

Im waiting on a miscarriage to happen. My doc said it will happen sometime next week. Im 9 weeks pregnant almost 10. Im scared to death. Im just wondering how it will happen and what to expect. Its driving me nuts just waiting and not knowing whats going to happen and weather or not its going to happen while im sleeping or while im out somewhere. I have no clue. All answers would be greatly appreciated.

I think I may be pregnant..and I want STRAWBERRYS SO BAD and a Mountain Dew.. hehee ( I will stay away from the dew..) but I seriously almost went to the grocery store at like 2am for some last night. Just wondering if anyone else felt this way too?

if the baby is very large like my last one was( 8lbs. 7 oz.) will the doctor induce a week or 2 early so the baby isn't so large. i'm 5'1 and very petite and well it was pretty tough getting a baby of this size to come out of me, they even said after his birth i should have been given a c section. i don't want to go through another 24 hour labor and 2 hours of pushing and am scared to death of it happening again. will they do a c section if i ask or at least induce me or strip my membranes around 38 weeks so the baby don't weigh quite so much??

ok my back has still been hurting and my stomach i have slight headaces and cant really focus i went to to energency room and theytoldme it was just mycycle getting ready to start but i know period cramps and this is horrible can i be pregnant

I did not release inside of her but there is always a chance for small amouts of pre eyaculatori liquid to make its way in. She has not had her period and she is very regular.Is there any way to prevent a preganancy at this stage?

Hey ladies!! I am proud to announce that I am 16weeks into my pregnancy, also curious to know and to ask if any of you ever felt some kind of twitching movements on the lower area of your stomach a couple of inches from the side of the belly button (Im not sure how to describe the feeling, but its sort of like when your eye twitches, something like that), or like if there's a little finger under the skin slighty poking. Im not sure if thats the baby starting to move or kick, but it was just weird since today as I was logging in to my computer I felt these constant vibrations about five times (about 3-5inches from my belly button on the left side. I am sure it was not gas!!! Please leave your comments, and I hope not to sound retarded!!! Thanks!!

I'm 6 months along right now with my first baby. I am the party planner type and I know this is one party I cannot throw for myself. I really have no knowlege of who's supposed to throw the party?
Will someone typically ask me for a guest list?
Do the seperate relatives (his side, my side) come together for this?
Generally what month is the party planned?

Also, my niece is pregnant too, a month later than I am...you don't think they'd combine baby showers, right? That's kind of a one person thing, isn't it? Also, it's my nieces 2nd baby - about 8 years since her last one. Will they even plan a shower for her? Any answers are appreciated. Thanks.

i had got my period a week too early.. and i had sex without a condom the day b4 i got it.. that was monday.. my cycle usually lasts for 5 days meaning its suppose to end on a friday... it ended last night on a wednesday. and never came back... whats goin on????

I'm about 6 weeks and 4 days (by my count), and i have to go for my first ultrasound today to determine how far along i am. I was wondering, when i go for this appointment, would i look silly asking for them to just do the vaginal ultrasound instead of wasting time doing the topical ultrasound because i am a bigger girl and in my past experiences they have a hard time getting through the stomach lining and fatty tissue in there. Just want to know what you guys think? They might try both anyway right? Hey, i mean, you never know.

We are expecting our first child. And it would be my mothers first granchild. My Mother in law however has 3 granchildren and was not present in the delivery room for any, she respected my sis in law privacy. My mother has already made comments to my aunts and sisters that she couldn't wait for the baby to be born. That seeing it born is different than having one. Helpppp! She is driving me crazy about other things to. I don't want to hurt her feelings but we want to do this alone. Thank you for answering.

Yes, I understand what you guys are all saying. Thanks! But that's the funny part because my insurance representative that i spoke to the other day advised me that the only thing that i have to pay for is the first prenatal appointment with co-pay. (NJ Horizon Blue Cross-Blue Shield) I do not need to pay for any other prenatal appointments, nor ultrasounds. They pay for them. So that's why i was confused with all of this up-front money and it's just strange. But thanks for the information, i guess i'll just wait to talk to the doctor's office to see what's up.

I have heard that it is, but I am not really sure why, because don't you still have to ovulate? I understand that may sound like a stupid question, but I am slightly worried that I may be. But at the same time I don't want to jump to conclusions. My new baby boy is 7 weeks, and my husband and I had sex at 3 weeks (I had a c-section) and the condom broke (what luck!!!). Then, we had sex unprotected about 5 days after AF. I am not seeking medical advice, or sarcasm (!) because I am really just curious. Thanks! :)

I'm 12 weeks and today I sat back in my office chair and I though I felt something move. I'm not sure if it was the baby are my body relaxing. I'm always trying to be still and trying to feel the baby move but I'm not sure if I can yet or not.

When can you feel the movement???
And what does it feel like???

this is my first month I got on BC pills and this week my period should be coming but theres no sign off my period at all...I had unproctected sex about the first week and also I wasn't taking them on time....I also just had a miscarriage 6 weeks ago..Is there a possibility that i could be pregnant or is it normal to miss a period...

Okay, Well i have been really week and no energy the past week! Last night i felt naseous and had diarrhea... Not reallly loose though..I just went to bed.. I woke up this morning.. and I had diarrhea again.. my face was a little swollen but is perfectly fine now. I have had it once more since this morning.. I just feel like total blah! I am drinking a lot of water and eating fruit! so i know im not dehydrated.. i havent changed my way of eatting at all..

Is this okay? normal or not?

2 weeks ago i was 1 cm dialated n doctor said the babies head is definitly down.. i dont see her until tuesday!

alright im 25 weeks and 5 days pregnant, and yeasterday and today ive felt less and less movements, sometimes i feel him move and then he doesnt move for hours at a time, like today ive only felt him move like 3-4 times if that. Whats going on here? He was much more active earlier in the week and they are slowing getting to be less and less and not as strong. Thanks

I am 30 weeks pregnant with my first child. My ankles are EXTREMELY swollen. I know they say that some swollen extremities are normal,but I have also heard about pressing on the swollen area and if it leaves an indentition, then you should see your doctor. I have mentioned the swolleness last month when I went to my Dr. but she didn't seem too concerned... Ive heard this can result in preeclampsia. Anyone else experience this? Would I "look" stupid, going to the Dr.?

well my mom thinks im too young to be pregnant. But i think i am and i want to go to the doctors and be sure. but i dont know how to tell my mom. i mean its not that easy just to say, mom i think im pregnant! wanna take me too the doctors? besides im still in high school, and far from ready for a baby.. but i want to keep it sooo bad, because its the only thing i can call mines, and the love i would have for the baby would be mind blowing, anyone.. plz... can you tell me a way i can tell my mom i might be pregnant and want to go to the doctors to make sure

i am 31 weeks pregnant went to the doctor today and he checked me and told me that my uterus was forward or backward cant remember which one lol...and if i had more 6 contractions in an hour to go to the hospitol that he could tell i have had some...but im not dilated yet..i was just wondering what that meant?
