Whats going on here? He was much more active earlier in the week and they are slowing getting to be less and less and not as strong. Thanks

My wife just went to the emergency room yesterday because she was panicked about not feeling our daughter much lately. The baby was fine.

The nurse said that sometimes the baby turns so that they are kicking inward, and you can't feel it as much.

You are fine.

It could be that there is less room or sometimes they go through a really fast period of growth spurts that make them sleep more often. My youngest son barely moved at all and I was a high risk pregnancy and he was fine. I would say that if you don't feel any mvement within 36 hours than it might be a reason to see a doc. I went for 3 days with no movement and I saw the doctor and my son was fine....It think he's just a little lazy!

Any time before 28 weeks, this is normal. The baby still has plenty of room to move around, so, you may not always feel him.

If it concerns you, though, talk to your doc. I remember asking this question when I was about 24-25 weeks along, too, and my daughter is fine.

I'm 29 weeks pregnant and I am having the same problem... i asked this question at cafemom.com (you should check it out and join) and a lot of them told me that since I'm active I don't notice the baby being active as well....
