At 12 weeks it actually feels like little bubbles popping in your lower belly. I only felt them while lying down...but I guess you can feel them anytime. Enjoy your pregnancy...it was the best time of my life.

It all depends on if this is your first pregnancy or not. Typically, first timers don't feel movement until the 15-20th week. But that doesnt' mean that you aren't feeling it. You may be especially in tune with your body, who knows. When I first started feeling movement regularly (around 19 weeks) it felt like butterflies in my stomach - like little flutters. Now at 24 weeks, it's full on kicking!

It could very well be your baby you are feeling. With my first pregnancy i felt the baby at 13 weeks. I didn't think it felt like butterflies, like most people will tell you, but more like a little tickle or very soft knock.

Too early yet. The baby is only 3 inches long and not very strong yet.
You probably felt gas, although anything is possible.
You should be able to feel the baby without a doubt soon though.

I think 12 weeks is very early to be feeling movement. I think movement is felt somewhere between 16 - 20 weeks. Then it is probably only going to be felt by you and not by someone placing their hand on your belly.

I started feeling movement early too, at this stage it feels more like a flutter and you cant feel it externally.

It all depends they usually start at 3 months, but all pregnancies are different. Maybe it was your lil one moving.
It feels like butterflies inside of you. Such a nice feeling.
Congrats.
