It's normal to miss a period when you first star the pills, but because you haven't been taking them on time AND had unprotected sex in the first weeks makes me think that you would very well be pregnant.
Keep taking your pills (they cause no harm to the baby) and take a HPT in about a week.

That's a hard one because there is a chance, but everyone reacts to BC differently. Did you still take your BC everyday for the first week? I think the only way you are really going to be able is to take a home pregnancy test! Remember that Feb. was a really short month so your period will be a little later then usual! Good luck I hope this helps and I'm sorry for your loss!

First of all how many weeks exactly have you been on BC?? because it is usual set to where you have your period the fourth week. If you had unprotected sex and weren't taking them on a regular basis, then yes, there is a chance that you may be pregnant, but depending on the reason for your last miscarriage, you may have the same result this time. But as always, whatever anwers you get on here will never compare to going to your doc and getting an EXPERT opinion.

your supposed to wait 30 days for the pills to become effective, and if u had unprotected sex before you got on the pills then there is a chance that you could be pregnant, I would just take a test to be sure, because if youve missed a period then the test should show positive if you are
good luck

yes, it's possible that you may be prego. As long as you don't go 2 days without taking the pill, you are safe. so you don't need to take them at exactly 2pm everyday, just as long as you take it every day and if you miss one day - no problem, just take 2 the next day. The first week starting the pill you are not safe at all from getting preg. - so wait until you are week late and go pee on a stick.
Don't worry yet, you just started the pill, your body is adjusting.

BC pills sometimes can make you miss a period. I'd take home pregnancy test just in case though.

While usually when you first start to take BC pills they start to work right away it takes about a month for them to actually start kicking in. I remember when i was on BC pills my ob/gyn told me that i didnt have to take them at the same time every day she said just take them just like you brush your teeth everyday. and when you miss one just double it the next day.
But, just take a pregnancy test just to be sure.

Remember that birth control pills alter the functioning of your hormones. Remember that the pill is there to help prevent pregnancy, but in doing so it has been known to prevent ovulation. If you've taken enough pills, then there may be enough chemical interaction there to disrupt your cycle. I would say then, chances are you may not be pregnant.

when you first go on BC, it takes a couple months for your body to get used to it. couple that with the fact that you just had a miscarriage, your body is doing all kinds of crazy things right now. If you are uber concerned, take a hpt.
