hey, can any1 help im 37 weeks pregnant today and was wondering weather a non-permentant dye that last 6-8 washes is safe to use?

It is just an old wife's tale that it is unsafe to die your hair during pregnancy. Just make sure you do it in a well ventilated room so you don't get nauseous.

my doctor said hair dye is fine to use after the first trimester, just make sure you are in a well ventilated room or if you do your hair in a small bathroom, open a window or leave the bathroom while your watiing for the color to take. in other words don't sit there the whole time and breathe in the fumes

There should be a 1 800 number on the box, call and ask. Or if your having it done at a salon ask a pro!. BUT....You don't have much longer to go. Why not just wait...better to be safe then sorry.

Hair dye is completely and totally safe. The best person to ask though if you still have questions is your hair stylist. When I was pregnant though mine told me that it was completely safe.

You only have a few more weeks, why risk anything going wrong? Throw your hair back in a ponytail and call it a day mama! :) Good luck.

I dyed my hair during both my pregnancies and my girls are just fine. But I would check with my ob/gyn just to make sure.

no you can get highlights they are safter because it doesnt touch your scalp but you shoulndt die your hair while pregnant.
