I might be just paranoid about this whole situation, but this is what happened. I took the morning pill on January 3rd, where I got my period on January 7th. As usual, my period was the same as always (5-6 days.. 2nd and 3rd days were my strongest then it gradually becomes lighter). I don't have abnormal period (where I don't miss it) nor my cycle NEVER lasted more than 5-6 days. However, I got my period again on january 22nd. This time, my cycle was about 9 days long. On the 5th day of my cycle, my menstruation dyed down (that's always the case) but this time, it got heavy on the 6th day.. which continued on until the 9th day. I haven't had sex ever since I took the morning pill... is there a chance that I'm pregnant?

a few months ago, my bf and i had a pregnancy scare...turns out everything was ok, but we got into the discussion of what would be do if i would have been pregnant? i'm against abortion...he would want me to have an abortion and says if he had a kid at this point in his life he would go crazy (literally)...we wouldn't be financially ready for a child...however, we still have sex (i'm on birth control and we also use condoms)...should we be having sex as much as we do?? what do you think i should do if i would become pregnant? basically what are your thoughts on what i'm saying??

At about 10 weeks my doctor did an ultrasound and diagnosed my pregnancy as non-viable. I was offered a D&C, but chose expectant management. After waiting 2 weeks, the bleeding began. I bleed an extremely heavy rush of blood and clots, feeling as if I faint for 4 hours the first night. I passed tons of large clots and blood, that I could not even wear a pad. After this, I bled a medium amount for 2 days. Then I had severe labor like cramps and pains, so bad I could not stand it. My husband called the doctor and they said to take 800 MG Motrin. After about 2 hours, the cramping went away and more clots passed. The next day, the labor cramping started again for another 2 hours, after which more bleeding came. The bleeding continued for a medium amount for another 5 days. Last night (day 8) I passed more large clots and bled quite heavy. Today, (day 9) the bleeding has almost quit. Is it finally over, or will continue for a longer time? Is this normal?

I went to the doctors today and they told me that Im 80% effaced and 3 cm dilated... what does this mean? Does that mean that I'm gonna have the baby soon? Also, are there things I can do to speed things up? Im really excited now.

ok so im 2 months preg. and i had a nurse tell me that i cannot eat seafood or hotdogs or lunchmeat. i understand the seafood part but why the heck cant i eat lunchmeat or hotdogs?

its just this obgyn keeps sending me for test. so far quest diagnostics has charged me over $1500 for blood test ,pap cultures. the jerk dosnt even have the decency to tell me any of my results. i could only imagine how much a sonogram cost. i know the jail or prison will give me one free of charge.

I went to see my OB for an appointment last Friday...that was while I was 33weeks and 3 days old. At that time when the nurse weighed me, I actually lost 3 pounds from my last checkup time. But then I asked the OB when she measured my belly to tell me how much my baby is weighing. She said almost between 4.5-4.75 pounds. I asked her if it was normal and she said it was a bit on the high side but that I have some weeks left until we can tell for sure how much this baby grows. Anyway I have another appointment tomorrow and that will put me at 34 weeks 3 days. How much as an estimate would my baby be in the next 5/6 weeks while i hopefully deliver the baby? Does he grow half a pound or a pound during the last few weeks? Could I be having a big baby or is it normal for him to be about 5 pounds now?

I am 12 weeks pregnant with my first baby and so far I haven’t gained any weight and I have no “baby bump.” My stomach is still flat and I can’t wear maternity shirts yet.

I have a friend who is pregnant with her first too, and she is wearing maternity shirts at 15 weeks. She has a bump!

I am kind of sad my belly is flat still. :( Will I grow a lot in a few weeks?

Can anyone tell me why im finding it so difficult to accept that the father of my unborn child doesnt want to be with me or the baby? Im not an irrational person so I know that I have to simply accept this on move on without him and look after me and my baby. I know emotions run higher in pregnancy and im wondering if thats why I just dont seem to be coping with it.I just feel real rejection for both me and the baby and im devastated by it all. How has anyone else moved on after a split during pregnancy (im 3 months). Im so scared of being a single mum.I really admire all you women (and men) out there who do it alone.I think i just need to pull myself together, just dont know how....any advice would be greatly appreciated x x x x

Ive been having unprotected sex with my partner since aboout late october. Well i was supposed to start my period on the 24th of January, So i took a test the 23rd of January to make sure, and it as negative. On the next day, the 24th, i started to spot lightly, then it got a little heavier than spotting, but only for that one day. My normal periods last 3 - 4 days. But the next two days, it was so light spotting, i didnt even have to wear a pad. On the 27th i took another test just to make sure, and it was negative also. Is it possible that i could be pregnant and it was just not showing up on the test? Please help me out!! Thanx!!!!

i remember when i had my first son the pains were not to bad but after my second it was like labour pains all over again i am now pregnant with my third and final and am worried about the after pains i aint worried about labour pains as i know they can give you strong pain relief does after pains get worse after each labour?

Ok I had my son Sept 27th and had a 3 day period on Jan 9th (heavy but short)...Still waiting for februarys....Before I got pregnant my cycles were exactly 28 days. I am still exclusively breastfeeding too. We have been using protection as well...Could it still be the horomones throwing it off??? I REALLY HOPE SO:)

Hello all, I am 34 weeks + 6 days and I have been getting headaches for the past week. They are similar to migraines in the sense that I start to feel nauseous but the pain is not the same, not as severe.
I have an appointment today with my doctor and I will discuss this with him of course but I would like to know before I go.

I feel that my belly is getting bigger already...........do you think that it is bad to show already at 6 wks.............i am worried that it way way too soon...............i can already wear maternity pants and shirts comfortably but they are still very loose but comfortable.............what should i do.....i don't want to look like a cow............

I'm 20 wks, just had ultrasund yesterday and they could not tell. My hushand went through a very bad depression when or first baby was a girl, so I would really like to know before hand, so he can get "get over it" by the birth. The dr. say the heart beat is a girl (wifestale), and it is pretty low on my right side. Lower then my daughter was at 20 wks. It is moving around a lot for only 20 weeks, more then my daughter was (if I'm remembering right). My sister says if you get headaches it's a boy. I'm just trying to get as much info. to see if I can figure out. Is a boy high and girl low?? Any ideas?

okay, i was susposed to have my period february 1-5 and still didn't. i was having uporotected sex with my boyfriend recently. i was on birth control, but haven't been on it since december. (we've talked about having a baby, so it's not bad if i am, it will be rewarding) but i don't want to jump to conclusions. i've become nauseated lately, and i feel terrible. i think that i may be pregnant, but i'm not sure if i am. any ideas?
