I have 5 kids and ovulation was VERY painful for me. Luckily it doesn't last very long but seems like forever when you are going through it. I asked my doctor and he said it is normal to have that much pain after having kids.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I think I can feel when I ovulate. I have had two kids, and I felt it more and more after each one.
I don't think this should be painful. Mine is only uncomfortable. I would certainly talk to you doctor about this at your next check-up. And remember, you did JUST have a baby. There is a lot going on in your body right now.
You are not alone in this, but I would talk to your doctor...and try (as hard as that may be) not to worry about this.
Congrats on your new bundle of joy.

I also have the same problem and it has never changed i have two boys and had one miscarriage and its still the same. My doctor told me birth control will make them less painful. So i gave it a try and so far so good. I can sometimes tell but most of the time its pain free. Good Luck !!!!!!!!

I have had this problem ever since my miscarriage a year ago. The doctor told me that it was caused by ovarian cysts that developed during my pregnancy because of the hormonal changes. It has gotten better in the last one or two cycles though.

No, I have three children and it gets worse for me every time that I have had a new child. My perids are stronger and more painful. Everyone is different.
