It's a bit harder with the first baby. The earliest I've ever felt one of my 4 kids was 14 weeks. It wasn't every day at first either. It will totaly catch you off gaurd when it happens. You'll feel a flutter, and stop what your doing ~ frozen wondering was that it?
You'll stay frozen for awhile waiting for it again and if you're lucky, you'll get to feel it again and then you'll know for sure that it's your little miracle in there dancing for you!!!

With my daughter (my first baby) I was about 4 months. So that was probably about 16-18 weeks. Now I am pregnant again and I felt my son move around 14 weeks for the first time. It feels like little nervous butterflies or gas bubbles in your stomach. You probably won't feel full out kicks until you are well into your second and third trimester. When your baby gets quite a bit bigger. It's an amazing feeling and will happen really soon. Have you heard the heartbeat for the first time yet? It's just about as exciting as that. But there is also no cause for alarm if you don't feel your baby until you are 20 weeks for the first time. Chances are by that time you probably have already but just aren't sure. I knew the second time since I was able to recognize the movements early. But the size of the mother and position of the baby can make you feel them earlier or later. Best of luck! It will happen sooner than you know.

I read that the average is 18 weeks with a first pregnancy. I felt it at 15 weeks. It felt like butterflies fluttering around. I know it wasn't gas, especially because it became more consistent through my pregnancy. I loved it. I am 9 weeks pregnant again and can't wait until I can feel this one!

14 weeks, but I was told that was quick and every women is different. It was just little flutters at first. By 20 weeks I was definitely feeling more solid movements. Just be patient, I know easier said then done!!! I think the average is 18 weeks, so it won't be long. Best Wishes!

I was roughly twenty weeks with my first one and about 24-25 with my second. It took my longer to fell my second one because he is hiding behind his placenta. Give yourself time I know I was anxious as well and now I wish I could turn him off sometimes. He kicks my ribs and stuff, it HURTS sometimes. But for the majority of the time is is okay and cool to know that there is a living baby inside of you. It will fly, but roughly twenty weeks id a good average. Congratulations and Good Luck.

18 weeks, a very small fluttering. But I was early compared with many of my friends. I think i could feel it early b/c i was put on bed rest and had lots of time to just focus on my body and growing belly!! In the earlier days, it's easier to feel the movements when i was laying down and not doing anything (this was according to my friends who were not on bedrest!)
Now, it feels like i've got a trampoline inside of me!!! Congratulations on your baby!!

I was about 20 weeks when I first felt my baby move. It feels like butterflies in your stomach, it was one of the nicest feelings in the world.
