its just this obgyn keeps sending me for test. so far quest diagnostics has charged me over $1500 for blood test ,pap cultures. the jerk dosnt even have the decency to tell me any of my results. i could only imagine how much a sonogram cost. i know the jail or prison will give me one free of charge.

I dont know what state you live in, but I know that free insurance is provided to anyone who is expecting and makes under a certain amount of money each month. Go Into the Department of health and human services in your area and fill out the forms before you have to go to jail. If you make under the limit, they will also take care of past medical bills as long as you were under the income limit at the time the bills were incurred. A sonogram typically costs about $250. Also, the Dr. will let you know by phone or in writing usually only if you have something come back abnormal. If you are upset with your Dr., you can get a different one. I got a new Dr. 2 weeks before I gave birth. Make sure and get you and your baby properly taken care of. It sounds like you have a rough few months ahead of you, so good luck and hang in there. You will get it all together. Also, could you get a reduced sentence since it is from the past and you have changed since then?

I am sure that the "jerk" will be happy to allow you to get the sonogram in jail. You say you have been charged $1500 so far, but you don't say that you paid the bill. I feel sorry for that baby.

why did u bother to book any other appintments with that twit when he hadn't given u ur results?! i wuld say take him 2 court...but it sounds like u've seen enuf of those for the time being. if the jail will giv u one free, then do it, tell them ur last obgyn didn't give u any or the results so u need thoses tests done again.
so bloody expencive over in america!! makes me glad i live in england with the (bloody useless, but still free) NHS. congrats on ur pregnancy, judging by the sounds of what u were saying u might b out by the time the baby's born. i hope u r. try 4 a good behaviour early releace, @ least then u can relax at home b4 baby arives instead of having sum gits telling u what to do and exactly what time 2 do it.

Wow.. well free of charge for you but it costs everyone in your state for your jail health care...
Take care of you If your worried about the money that much I'm sure people in your state won't care to spend the extra .25 for a cent to help
Better to get it at tax payers expensive then not to get it at all

you're right, you will get all your test while you are in jail. however, you better make plans with what you are going to do with your baby right now. my sis in law is in prison and has a baby in there. they gave her 24 hours to have the baby picked up by someone or they will turn it over to the state.

your going to jail and your pregnant. girl you need to thing about that baby and whats best for it. you need to get those test done to make sure everything is ok.

no news is good news by the way. p.s. you should never cancel any appointments that regard to your unborn child, it's all about a check up for your baby, not you.
