Pregnancy - January 2007

I'm 20 and i live with them they are really good people but recently they been calling my baby thiers and ours! It seems like thier trying to take over and when the baby comes they say im not going to get alook in, how can i tell them without upsetting them its my baby not thiers and i will be looking after the baby myself? i dont want them to be hurt by what i say but i really think they need to know. The other day they had been discussing what my babys education will be like they said between themselves he/she is going to go to school thier going to make him do his homework on time, i feel as if though the baby im carrying is for them when its not its my baby!! please help!!

My friend just told that she went to her doctor's on Friday and was told that her doctor told her that. I wanted to ask more questions, but surely she was not in the mood. She was 18 weeks along. What happens now (to her and the baby)? She said her doctor wanted to wait for a little while to see what was going to happen. Please help me cause I am lost on what happened and how to support her.

I have just got back from my growth monitering scan, they've said I have a low lying placenta and low amniotic fluid, I am 23 weeks. Is it likely the problems could sort themselves out by the time my baby is due? They have booked me in again for a scan at 28 weeks to check growth, it will be my fourth scan and I am starting to worry now because they keep asking me back, they don't give much away when I ask questions but they havn't referred me to a specialist so maybe they are not that worried about it? has anybody else experienced these problems and gone on to have a normal birth and healthy baby? this is my second pregnancy, my first was uneventful apart from the same lack of amniotic fluid problem but it was later on in the pregnancy, around 32 weeks.

I know a lot of people ask these questions & I know a simple answer is to take a pregnancy test - which I will do, but in the meantime I'd just like some feedback on others experiences. I have been sleeping with my partner frequently around the time I ovulate so I was aware pregnancy was possible. However I recently finished my period which lasted longer than normal (about 8 days) and my breasts which were sore and firmer due to PMT have gone down as expected. Therefore to me this concluded I was NOT pregnant. But this week I have been feeling increasingly tired, have slight pinky discharge today and felt queasy this morning. Has anyone had a period to go on & find they are pregnant? No silly answers please, just want to know others experiences before I take the test. Thanks

If something would have been off or show something is wrong would they have called me already. They said the results would be back Saturday and Monday. But I work at a hospital and when there is blood work done and there seems to be a out of range value which means there is somthing wrong with a patients, the lab calls immediatly. Does Doctor office do the same thing??? I am anxious, blood work done becuase husband and I are ttc and having trouble.

My question is, would it be safe to get induced now instead of waiting, because I want to talk to my doctor about it, but I was just wondering if anyone else has any experience with this. I just found out too that because of the gd, my baby is really big. I don't understand how I am going to be able to go another four weeks if the baby is already too big. Isn't that dangerous? If anyone has any experience with gestational diabetes please help!

Me and my girlfriend JUST use a condom, she doesn't take the pill. If the condom does not break, slip off, and I do not ejaculate in the condom, do you think that it will be 100% safe that she won't get pregnant?

I also check for microscopic holes afterwards by filling it with water, and a hole has never occured. So yeah, I can't see why she would get pregnant.... Just being a bit paranoid =/

I have had really bad gas (burping and uhhhh ya ummm...) which I usually rarley do. I have had really dry skin, pains in my sides and lower stomach. I didn't know these were signs of pregnancy until I started looking around about it. I have taken 4 pregnancy tests. The first one I took was positive, even though the line was faint I called EPT and they said it is still positive. Then the 2nd one was the same thing. The 3rd one was in-conclusive because there was only a dotted line rather then a solid line. The 4th was negative. As soon as I wake up in the morning I have heartburn and it is consistant no matter what or how much I eat throughout the day until dinner once I eat dinner the heartburn goes away but everytime I eat or drink ANYTHING I get gas (burping and uh ya...)! Weird huh!. Also sometimes smells make me light headed like laundry soap, dryer sheets, anything perfumey etc etc.

This is my 2nd pregnancy and i never have this symptoms before for my 1st.
I am 13 wks pregnant and my tummy does not show. Sometimes i lay down on my back just to check my baby's heartbeat.Kind of worried as all my friends and relative kept telling me that i don't look pregnant. I was overweight when i found out im pregnant so the gynae told me to cut down a lil weight( i was 65kg/1.69m tall).Currently i have lost 3kg but thank god my last check up 2wks ago shows that my baby growin fine and healthy.
Is it due to my fats on my tummy? I hate not getting seats whenever i took the bus or train because i get nausea and morning sickness easily. pls..i just to hear sumtin nice..:))

Last month I stopped taking birth control pills and switched back to condom, but because of what i thought was a little more effect from the pills we weren't extremly cautios ( we started making love without a condom then at one point stopped to put it on and then continue). Well, now my period is about a week and a half late and I am having all pregnancy symptoms, but all the tests that I made are negative. I would love to be pregnant, but this incertainty is killing me. Did anyone go trough something similar or knows someone who did? I could really use an opinion. Thank you very much!
