It isn't real heavy but it worrys me I got a doc appt this week but I am very worried that I might of lost my baby. What are the chances I am still pregnant?? When I went to the doc and found out I was pregnant he knew about the bleeding and just told me to make another appointment and the one I made then with my obgyn isn't for a couple more weeks I told them everything but they said I have got to get sent as a emergency case by my doctor and he wont send me as one I am not sure why? I am very limited on health care facilitys because I am in the army stationed in Korea and you can only see militay doc's here. So I have done everything I know to do it's not like I am ignoring the fact that this is dangerous. I am just kinda stuck on what to do now??

Hello there dear. I am really sorry that you are having this problem. I do think that you should let someone at your doctors office know what is going on. I am sure that they will want to see you right away. They will not want you to wait for the appointment that you already have scheduled.
The sad fact is that IF you are losing your baby, this early in your pregnancy, there is nothing that can be done about it. It is frustrating and sad but there is nothing one can do other than to let nature take its course.
If the bleeding were just tiny bits of a spot here and there I would feel more optimistic about it. Steady bleeding of even the amount you describe is certainly not a good sign.
If it were the implantation that people are so fond of talking about on here ( not really something that happens in my 20 years of experience) it would have been very slight and over with quickly.
I do wonder why, if you have been bleeding for three weeks you have not gone in to see the doctor sooner. Bleeding is one sign that should send you to the phone to call your doctor ASAP.
I am sorry that this is happening to you. Today is Monday. Call your doctor and get an appointment or at least have a blood test to find out if you are still pregnant. You need some medical attention of some sort.
Good luck and I hope that everything turns out all right.
Blessings

Yes, it is possible that you are still pregnant. Some people spot the entire pregnancy. Don't get crazy over light bleeding. Rushing to an ER will do nothing more than stress you out and waste a lot of your time waiting around. You will just be advised by them to keep your OB appt. (I worked in an ER and know the the drill) There is not anything they can do this early on. If the pregnancy is meant to be, then it will happen. If it is not right, your body will do the rest and there is nothing anyone can do to stop it. If the bleeding becomes heavy ie: needing more than a maxi pad every hour, go to the ER immediately! Otherwise, keep you appointment with your OB/GYN and pray for the best news. I've been through it myself. I've had 2 miscarriages and 2 successful pregnancies, they are all different.
I wish you the best of luck.

To be honest it could go either way. As many as 1/4 of pregnancys report blood. And as many as 4/5 of these do not end in miscarriage.
Many women report having periods in pregnancys, although this is not possible because t have a period you lose an egg (so you would not be pregnant) . Bleeding is commen. sometimes their is no cause at all. Other times it can be a threatened miscarriage. Something else which is quite commen is diserpearing twin syndrome. Dont let this upsett you , but as many as 1.8 pregnancy start as twins but most dont start developing and diserpear into the lining in your womb. That is a reason for some bleeding.
Miscarriage is the most scary and does not always consist of lots of blood and pain. I miscarried at 7 weeks and had light bleeding for a week before. I had no pain and no clots in till the 8th day of bleeding. It is possible it could be this. Although most storys i have read about miscarriage (a clot has normally been passed before 3 weeks). So theirs a chance its not that.
its a shame doctors have made you wait 3 weeks. when you go in make sure they no your worried and dont leave in till you have a reason. they may tell you its normal. But just to let you no 4 different doctors told me my blood loss was normal and i miscarried.
I wish you luck.

Go to the doctor, phone in the morning and tell them you cannot wait. My sister had the same thing last year, and the doctor's kept ****ing around. Weeks later when they did an ultrasound they found the baby had stopped development 3 weeks before, but her body hadn't fully miscarried it and they had to do a procedure to assist this. If it is light you probably have not miscarried but it could indicate a problem.
I have heard lots of cases where a woman had light bleeding and they went on to have normal pregnancies and children, my own mother keeps telling me she had what she called a period 3 times while pregnant with my sister but I am sure you would want to know for sure.
Good luck and I will cross my fingers that everything is okay.

If it's light then it may be just the blood that collected before you got pregnant. I had a period 2 weeks after I got pregnant. That baby is 32. So it doesn't necessarily mean a problem. I wouldn't wait to go to the doc for your appointment. Call him tomorrow morning and get in right away. He will probably tell you to come in.
You need to think about it this way: If you miscarry, then there was most likely something wrong with the development. Believe it or not, many pregnancies end in miscarriage - most before the woman knows she's pregnant. If there is a problem, let your body do what it needs to do. I have a friend who went to bed for 7 months rather than to have a miscarriage. Her baby was born blind and with brain damage. Her body was trying to get rid of it because it was defective. If she had allowed nature to work, she would have been able to have a normal child next time.
Trust your body Sweetie and don't worry. If this one had something wrong, the next one will probably be very healthy.
If you're still pregnant, then congratulations and enjoy being pregnant. It really is a special time.

It's fine...I had my period though my entire pregnancy...As long as you don't have severe cramping or the bleeding isn't extremely heavy you don't have anything to worry about. All women's body's respond to pregnancy differently. If this is your first baby you body just may have to get used to the idea of having an "foreign object" in it. Your body knows what's supposed to be there and when something new is there it does what it needs in an attempt to get rid of anything else...Give it a few more months and I'm sure that the bleeding will stop. If not then you may want to tell your OB about the situation so they can make sure you're OK..

I would ask to see the doctor earlier....any cramping?
Some women just bleed during pregnancy....what color is it? If it is dark brown, don't worry about it, it is old blood.
How much? Are there clots?
I'd go in for a blood test and ultrasound now.

I cannot believe that you told the doctor and they gave you an appointment for a later date. MY OWN doctor would tell you to come in right away if there is spotting. You should go to urgent care or the emergency room. NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If its quite light bleeding or spotting, then chances are it's to do with the foetus attaching itself too the womb wall, See your doc as planned tho. Let me know how you get on x
