I have had really bad gas (burping and uhhhh ya ummm...) which I usually rarley do. I have had really dry skin, pains in my sides and lower stomach. I didn't know these were signs of pregnancy until I started looking around about it. I have taken 4 pregnancy tests. The first one I took was positive, even though the line was faint I called EPT and they said it is still positive. Then the 2nd one was the same thing. The 3rd one was in-conclusive because there was only a dotted line rather then a solid line. The 4th was negative. As soon as I wake up in the morning I have heartburn and it is consistant no matter what or how much I eat throughout the day until dinner once I eat dinner the heartburn goes away but everytime I eat or drink ANYTHING I get gas (burping and uh ya...)! Weird huh!. Also sometimes smells make me light headed like laundry soap, dryer sheets, anything perfumey etc etc.

Hi there dear. I am reading your question and groping for the best answer. You don't mention how late your period is or when you missed it. That leaves a big question mark.....
I have to say that the things that you are describing are not what I would typically call symptoms of pregnancy.
While it is true that the excess gas that you mention can be a common by product of being pregnant it is something that usually happens later on in the pregnancy, not an early sign.
The pains that you mention have no relation to being pregnant nor does the dry skin, not that these things cannot happen while pregnant but again associated with later pregnancy.
The kind of things that women notice and complain about when they are newly pregnant are totally missing in your question.
What first gave you the idea that you could be pregnant? I am thinking that you must have missed your period in order to have done that many tests. No period or a delayed period are very strong signs that you are pregnant. Again, it does not make sense that your first test would be positive and then the test after that would be negative. Positive tests are very, very rarely wrong.
I could answer your question much better if I had some idea of when your period was due.
The best advice I can give you is to see a doctor and/or request that they do a blood test. That is literally 100% accurate and you will have an answer once and for all.
BTW, the odd reaction to smells is the one thing you said that does sound like early pregnancy!
Take care of yourself while your husband is gone. I can only imagine how stressful it must be for you. The sacrifice that you are making means a great deal to all American citizens. Thank you.
Blessings
Lady Trinity~

The easiest and most sure way to find out is go to a doctor. They can feel your uterus and tell you if you are pregnant. You also describe IBS - Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I don't remember feeling any of those symptoms.

Pregnancy should feel like nausea. Your boobs will get sore and you may get small bumps on your nipples. If you lay down and feel just above your pubic bone, you can feel your uterus if you are pregnant. Go see a doctor and find out. You can go to a woman's clinic for a free pregnancy test and they can tell you. Just quit wasting your money on those home tests since they don't seem to work well for you.

You have taken 4 tests and 3 of the 4 showed signs of being positive. Call your doctor and get a blood test. You are probably pregnant.

i advice you to have a urine & blood test to make sure if your are pregnant or not, after u get the result go visit a doctor if it was positive, if negative you need to go also to doctor to check the burping.

regarding gaz and burping what i heard from my doctor that it happends quiet alot during pregnancy but doesnt have the smell you are describing. sometimes its only sound without a smell.

and regarding smelling things, one of the symptoms for pregnancy also smelling things diffrent, for me i used to smell my husbend iron .. and i cant come close to him or cant hug him even. i used also to smell fresh yougurt always stink and asked my husbend to through it away and refuse to eat it.. but that all are only in the first 3 months of pregnancy and then things will get back to normal.

do you feel dezzy, do you pee alot, do you feel vomiting & want to through up, are you getting in a bad mood? or getting nervous and sensitive on anything. that's all symptoms for pregnancy.

am already pregnant now in the 8th month.. and i think it's great.. am enjoying my pregnancy and cant wait to see my baby.

wish you all the best.

It could be pregnancy or it could possibly be a hormone imbalance...your best bet to get a sure answer is to see your doctor. And soon...God forbid that you have some kind of cyct in your uterus that could be couseing your body to show signs of pregnancy but it is very possible...Don't let this go on you really need to see a doctor to get a sure answer...

All the symptoms point to yes,but there is also the possibility that you want to be so much, that your body can actually manifest symptoms, honestly, take a couple test, and see your doctor.
