im 20 weeks pregnant today and have been getting movement from my baby, because this is our first and all new to us im very excited but my boyfriend says im putting presure on him and taking away the excitement, and that im hurrasing him into feeling the baby move.when i get upset he walks away saying your emotions are making you like this, am i being too pushy??

it has been 28 days since i missed my last period, i have taken three pregnancy tests and all have been negative is it possible i am pregnant and the tests are wrong?? My last period was the first week of decemeber..very confused!

also, when does morning sickness usually occur? I havent experienced that yet i have experianced the car sickness & nausea though woah! the day before the day of & the day after I found out im pregnant were crazy! (mainly thats what prompted me to take the test)

I havent gone to my dr. yet they told me to come back monday but according to my last period I should only be about 4 weeks i only had my last period for about 2 days could i be a little further than 4 weeks because my period was so short?

also are there certain foods or habits i should stay away from? to prevent any mistakes or a miscarriage that would break my heart! i know smoking, drinking & drugs. I never did those anyway Im a bit of a health freak!

this is my first pregnancy and i am extremely excited and being very careful... thank you for the answers!!

In November I went off of my BCP. I was on my BCP for 6 years and before I was on it I had horrible periods. Since coming off my periods have been really light. My husband usually "pulls out" but last week for the first time he did not(on monday). I got what seemed to be a very light period on friday and barely anything saturday and today. Could I be pregnant?

the babies daddy does not what his unborn kids and so he married his ex fiance and now i am in a really bad spot i am getting out of the military and haveing family problems at home and i had a friend that want to marry me and take care of the kids but now he is not sure and he is saying that if its not his he wants nothing to do with me or the baby and so that was my back up plan and i am scared to do it on my own even though i know i can i just dont want farthers in and out of my kids life any advice would be nice thankyou

ok my mom thinks my sister is on drugs and probably is on drugs because she has been doing it for a long time!! then stopped then went on its like a cycle then she quit and got with a guy she like thats "19" shes 27... yea i know werid huh? the guy is ok better then most guys shes been with recently i the past but he still rough around the edges.. and shes been getting thin its been like 4 close to 5 months and she hasnt gotten really big at all... somone sahposeuhly sorry for spelling saw her with drugs and she was eating and she threw up green crap?? what do you thinK??

I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend last Thanksgiving. I had my period for two months (on time) and two weeks later on January 27 I bled differently because it was a sudden flow of blood, a small cramping pain and I found a blod clot, only lasting that hour. I had symptoms of nausea and tiredness before that happened. Did I have a miscarriage?

I'm 28 weeks pregnant and keep feeling like I'm going to throw up. I never really had morning sickness before. Now I keep getting this lumpy feeling in my throat like I'm going to throw up. It's a feeling I used to get before I'd throw up, like my throat and esophagus are squeezing. Plus if I start to cough I automatically throw up. Has anyone else had this problem?

We went on the maternity tour today at the hospital where I'll deliver. The retired nurse who gave the tour explained that photos are not allowed during the delivery, but everything up to and following. She said this is federal law. Has anyone heard of this? I want to make sure this isn't just my hospital or everyehere. Thank you!

I started getting migraine headaches at around 15 weeks or so. My doctors told me this is normal and gave me a prescription for Tylenol3. Since then, I have refilled that prescription 4 times (20 in each) and had to go to the hospital twice for demerol/phenegrin injections. Obviously, I know this is horrible and am no longer taking the pills. With or without them the headaches are persistant. Just when I think they are going away or gone, they come back with a vengence. It is the worst pain. I've tried regular tylenol, my dr. even told me to take motrin (though I didn't), resting, compresses, etc. Nothing seems to work. Any suggestions? Is there any other tests the hospital could run? (I live in a rural area and the hospitals around here aren't the best, but was thinking about going to a better hospital.) Any advice would be helpful and appreciated.

At my last OB appointment my doctor said he'd "knock a week of my sentance" and only let me go to 39 weeks max. Last time I had a horrible delivery. My son was huge at 9.8 lbs and 21 1/2 inches. I tore in four places (2 in and 2 out - I know tmi). Sorry...

I had complications from the delivery including pain, hemrriods, and loss of control of my bladder and bowels.

I'm wondering, should I take the induction?

Last time I went into labor on my due date at exactly 40 weeks. My son already had a bad bowel movement. I'm scared for another delivery like my first. But, even more scared when I hear horror stories of inductions.

I used primrose oil and pelvic rocks. I did yoga the whole pregnancy. I'm thinking if I keep doing those things maybe I'll go early on my own.

Got any advice?

my g/f and i have been dating for about 4 and a half yrs, she's 29, im 22 and a half. About 2 weeks ago she informed me that she was preg and will be keeping the baby. she was on the pill the whole time we were dating (allegedly) so i never used a condom or any other type of birth control. i have a few reasons why i think she got preg on purpose the main one being that i ran into a friend of hers yesterday who congratulated me and said she was happy for us b/c "she knew how much my g/f wanted a baby" which was news to me! i just graduated from college and have a good job now and my g/f has been out of college for 7 yrs so financially this isnt a problem, i just am in no way ready to be a dad b/c of the huge change that bringing a child into the world will have on someone's life. just a few month ago she and i were talking about how neither one of us is ready for marriage yet so that isnt an option. on top of this, my mom is gonna kill me! any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanx.

You women have to go through 9 months of hell, and then after that, another 18 years of hell. We guys get it easy. We get the pleasure of making you girls pregnant and then let you take care of the rest. Plus, we dont have to worry about appearences and hair. Dresses must also be a drag.

What kinds of things can you do to get ready for baby when you are on bedrest? I have the possibility of going on bedrest at 20 weeks for high blood pressure (I'm 17 weeks now..nearly 18)...and I know I'll run out of things to do...so I need some creative ideas to do while I'm waiting for baby.
