Could be gas or could be your appendix. I would try another doctor.

Depending upon how far along you are it could be round ligiment pain but if water is taking care of it it probably is braxton Hicks. They usually go away by moving or drinking water. If it becomes consistant pain or periodic pain spread out between even minutes it could be early labor. Good luck I wish I had a better answe for you.

First of all I would be finding a new doctor. Drink more water? No explanation about what it is? Then, the nurse contradicts the doctor? FIND NEW PROVIDERS!!!!!!!! That is simply scary.
Did they ever think that perhaps the baby is lying on your sciatic nerve and causing the pain? This is what happened to me during one of my pregnancies. The sciatic nerve runs down through your leg...I felt pain that shot from my stomach/lower abdomen/lower back through my leg.
Please get a second opinion on this. It is ridiculous to allow a pregnant woman to go on in pain and not do anything about it.

I had these pains during my first pregnancy exactly how you are describing, they got so bad the hospital ended up sending me for anouther ultrasound.
It turned out as something quite simply though. I had a bladder infection and the position the baby was lying in was making it worse, this is probably why your doctor is telling you to drink more to "flush" out your bladder.
If it gets bad though do seek futher advice any pains during pregnancy should be completely checked.

Hopefully this will help you? Maybe the pains that you are having is do to another period. Sometimes a person will think she has gas, but soon enough they its a period a day later.
Good luck with whatever it is:)

i think that a nerve is being pinched. i had that same thing when i was pregnant, but i can't remember what the name of the nerve was. i just remember that there wasn't anything that would make the pain go away unless it went away on its own. i feel for you!good luck

That sounds like round ligament pains. I found releif by seeing a chiropractor who is trained in Webster's Technique.

Im not quite sure I understand what you are feeling, but it may be pinched sciatica nerves, manifesting itself in the front.
You can feel them in your lower back, shooting down your leg, etc.
It could be other things too, but the description is too vague.
