Usually they are accurate 1 day after your missed period. However, with me it was plain as day positive in less that 4 days before my missed period.

I have to admit the Gig makes an excellent point. According to standard guidelines you would be ovulating right about now. Unless your cycle is radically off the chart there is no way you could be pregnant.
Of course, if that is the case and your periods are pretty much all over the place (in which case you would not know that you are supposed to start Feb 8th) then I suppose you could be pregnant and could get a positive result. That is an awful lot of what if's.
The only pregnancy test that is going to be that sensitive is a blood test and most doctors would not agree to order a blood test in your situation.
I would suggest that you wait until your period is 5 days late and then purchase a test kit that comes with two units. If you take it too early you can always take it again.
If you are trying to conceive I hope you have been taking Folic Acid as well as prenatal vitamins.
Good luck

No and most of the time it will not show up till the day you miss or after!! I would not take one now because it would be a false negative!! And if you are not due to have a period till the 8 th of feb then you can not technically be preg. yet!! so the weird feeling is in your head
On a 28 day cycle
Last period was - 5-6 of jan
ovulate- of 20 jan
implantation -21-30
First surge( maybe)- 3 ed of feb at VERY earliest but only like a 35-40 % chance of showing up on test!!
Best time to take a test - 8 or after!!
You can always go and take a Blood test !!!

It's too early to get tested. It is possible that it can show you but the chances are less than 50% as of Today. Today is only Jan 29th. I went to the doctor (OG) once for this issue which happened to me and the doctor said "it can possible show some dots instead of the line but not 100% accurate. It's also depending on your HCG level. In the Home pregnancy tests, it clearly states that you can use this test the day after you miss your period. so, it's better to use it after feb8th or on feb 8th. otherwise, it will be a waste because you will not get an accurate answer from that. Your weird feeling may be due to your worries. calm down and get some rest. do not just jump on the conclusion and think you are pregnant. You have more than 1 week to wait. Usually morning sickness starts 5-6 weeks after your last period. Not just right away. if your period doesn't come on feb8th, then go ahead and get tested. right now, relax. Good Luck.

Yes - it's the pregnancy hormone that it measures not your lack of period.
You can get a positive result within 3-4 days of conception with some of the EPTs.

Well, that's the fun thing about pregnancy tests, when they turn out positive, they are almost NEVER inaccurate. :) So, you can take one now if you want. But, if it's negative, you could still be pregnant and the hCG levels just haven't gotten high enough.

No, according to standard cycles your just ovulating.... how could you be pregnant if your only ovulating now???? Unless you ovulated early, but in that case then you still can't test for another week. Unless you were already pregnant last month, in that case then yea go ahead your overdue to check.
