Pregnancy - November 2006

I am 26 weeks pregnant and I feel absolutely horrible about myself! I feel huge!... and ugly! I am miserable and to the point it is already hard to put socks and shoes on, and I'm hungry all the time. I know I'm just gonna keep getting bigger....and it scares me to death. Do other pregnant women feel this way or is it just me?

My boss wants me to go on a business trip in February, I am due May 21. I told our secretary that I think it would be to much for me and I really do not want to do anything to harm the baby, but I was curious when is the latest you can fly? Thanks everyone...

I have been feeling really depressed latley and I have no desire to do anything. All ever feel like doing is crying. Is it possiable to have postpartum depression before you have a baby?Or is it just regular drpression or hormones?

At 7 weeks my hcg level was 33,000 my doc said that was high but nothing to worry about. I have heard higher levels can indicate a multiple pregnancy does anyone know about this i am kinda in the dark here. I already have three little girls and am terrified at the thought of having more than one more baby right now?

I have had a severe tooth ache for days now, I went to the dentist and they said that they thought my teeth were just being sensitve to pregnancy. But after a few days I could not take the pain . I went back in today, and they did a exray, but they double vested me. Do you think that is ok? I am only 7wks pregnant, so I worry cause the baby is still forming? And they gave me penicillian, they found that i had such a severe infection that it went into the bone. But should I be worried about the exrays, and being on penicillian?

i've been with my boyfirend for a year and a half and im pregnant my dad dosnt like him and my mom does she supports me and wants me to have the baby even my other family members want me to exept my dad i dont get along with him very good and i love my boyfriend so much and wants me to have the baby i've been crying because of what my dad said and i dont know what to do i can't kill my first baby ITS just not me!!

I am 19 and miscarried at the age of 18 last January... It was rough at first that was pregnant but we were all looking forward to it. it is still so hard to wake up everyday knowing my baby would be here with me if it didn't happen... i no i shouldn't think that way, and I no it could have been worse but its just so hard....What can i do to get my mind away from it? I just can't wait to be a mom....
recently its been real hard.. two of my friends are pregnant and I think why them, why not me? I talk to my fiance about it and he says it will happen when it happens and he looks forward to having one soon... I think i am having a hard time because how I felt when i was pregnant. I try to be patient and stuff but i sometimes get a little impatient, especially because I almost had my chance! I do look at the situation as, well it wasn't my time and there could have been something wrong with the baby.... and everything happens for a reason... I just don't no what to do..

I have recently stopped taking the pill (about a month ago) and I have had unprotected sex with my fiancé. My LMP was on Sept 26, 2006 and I am pretty regular every 28 days to be exact. My breasts have been sore and I have been going to the bathroom more and I think that my areolas are a little darker. I know that there might be a chance I could be pregnant but I want/need the advice of other mothers to help me out. I have taken a few home tests and I have a doctor visit on Nov 10. I am very worried and if I am pregnant then yes I will be very happy about but right now I am just starting to get scared.

how was the color and flow of your bleeding? because I am wondering because what I believe to be my period is just a little to light, than ever before and I have had my period for 15 years. but for 5-6 days now there was really no blood on my pad just when i wipe myself, and even then it was alittle tiny bit and it was like a rose pink color? does this sound familiar

I know on babycenter this question got heated, but why are second baby showers so bad??? I know some say well different gender is okay, or if there is a time lapse. But i am talking about genuine people who have consecutive showers, but don't register for pack n plays, high chairs, strollers, but more just a party. If someone really didn't think 2nd showers were right, couldn't you just show up with something personal for the baby? A book, a letter, a scrapbook of mom and you? Does it have to be 'bought"?? And if you do get gifts that you don't need, why not donate them to a shelter, needy, etc??? I guess for the people that are opposed to them, why not just show up with a personal gift and not a registry gift. If the mom to be gets mad, doesn't that say something about her values? I just dont think it has to be about gifts like that, but is that what you think??
My point i guess, is why does everyone feel so pressured

I recently had the HIV screening test done and it came out positive but then they did the Western Blot and that test came out negative does anyone have any information on this? I am really nervous but it's not like I have had a lot of partners or unprotected sex.

I have got morning sickness so bad that I cant eat anything, every food that I even look at makes me want to run to the bathroom. I am losing weight very bad, I am 8 weeks and lost 15 lbs. I need to eat but I need some Ideas, I cant eat saltins so dont say that please. my brothers girlfriend recently told him she was pregnant (3wks ago) then she complaned about having a sore stomach(tues), went to the docs then they apparently sent her to hosp for a scan, there was no heart beat. she started bleeding on wed, but he has doubts she was ever pregnant, he never saw the pregnancy test, she never told anybody she was pregnant not even her mum, so when my brother ask to go with her for a final scan nxt wk she refused, said she wanted to do it herself, i foned her telling her to get it sorted or i would she agreed then yesterday she was passing clots docs sent her to hospital again and they sucked it out (her words not mine) but didnt fone my brother till after it was all done. so what i really want to know is, is she lying? does her story sound right, would the hospital not keep her in if she went throught that procedure about 5 ish last nite ( she called him about 8 pm) hes going mad not knowing?
