numbness in lower belly?

i am 26 weeks pregnant and the lower left side of my abdomen feels numb sometimes.this is my 3 pregnancy and i dont remember this happening in the other ones.has anyone else had this happen or is this a strange symptom?

unfortunetly this isnt my belly.my friend sent it to me.you gotta be real lucky to catch something like that

I don't actually know what causes that... but I have the same thing only it's on the top of my belly under my right breast. It feels just tingly or "empty". it's hard to describe. But it comes and goes, and I don't think it's anything to worry about. You might ask your Dr. but he probably can't do anything about it. :)

I don't ever remember feeling numb during my pregnancy. Is that where the baby is? If it keeps up, I'd ask the doctor, it wouldn't hurt.

Haha, people are retarded... you can fully tell that is a pregnant belly with the baby's foot pressing on it. Sometimes my baby would really stretch out and you could see his whole foot on my side- made me feel lopsided!

That picture is so adorable I can't believe it.How did you catch that in time to snap a photo.?.In turn to you'r question,I have three children too and it seemed like to me everytime I got pregnent thier was something else wierd that would happen.You are most likely just find and if I think back yes I did feel numbness in my belly.My first pregnancy I felt the sharpest pains in my entire life and the doc just kept saying it's normal but I asked everybody else and they were like "what".Anyway she came out fine.Good luck and congrats.
