I had that happen to me one day when I was about 33 weeks (I'm 36 now). I got a little freaked because she is usually MEGA active, but I called and spoke to a nurse and this is what they recommend I do:
Eat a meal and drink lots of cold fluids like juice or water. Wait for a few hours and if you are still concerned about your baby, you should probably go in for an exam. They would have hooked me up to monitors had I gone in, but the juice worked like a charm. The nurse said that sometimes they do have their sleepy periods.
If you are genuinely concerned though, don't take any chances and contact your clinic. Talk to a nurse and she will recommend the best course of action for you.

My daughter hardly ever moved at all. She got hiccups all the time and I felt that a lot but as far as actual movement there was almost none during the whole pregnancy. She was born a healthy happy baby. She's 17 months old and is making up for 9 months of stillness. She runs everywhere

Yes...even though the baby is inside it is still a person just like us. Don't you sometimes like to have lazy days? Well I do and so do the babies inside. I wouldn't worry. As long as it hasn't been days and days without movement then I wouldn't stress it. I am sure the baby is fine.
If you are that worried, try drinking a cold sugary beverage that should wake the baby up and get him/her going. Than lay down and do your kick counts. Hope some of this helped. Good luck and God Bless.

its common for babies to sleep 90-95% of the time after 20-25 weeks gestation. Most likely he/she is running marathons while you are sleeping, and being rocked to sleep while you are active during the day. Try not to worry. If you lay down after drinking something cold, they sometimes wake up and get movin. If it becomes very distressing for you, call your doc and have him check it out. Best of luck to u.

You my expensive are in very early ranges of exertions.. returned discomfort is a great exertions sign. i circulate to wager with the subsequent 36 hrs you circulate into energetic exertions, so get some relax, save strolling and rocking those hips and revel interior the experience!

Well babies don't move as much if you're getting close to your due date. They become less active.
