The problem with coming back to the test an hour later is that the chemicals will have got all mixed up and dried out and you might find a positive line appearing when it should'nt.
Then again if you have a very low level of HCG in your urine but you are actually pregnant then it might take an hour or so for the line to develop. This just means your hormone levels aren't strong enough yet to make the line appear straight away.
I would totally discard this test and do another. Do it first thing in the morning as your urine is more concentrated thern. If its still ambiguous or hard to decipher, go and get a test done at your nearest chemists.

The time guidelines for reading the test are there for a reason! The second line you see after that time has expired can either be a ghostmark or an evaporation line.
See www.Peeonastick.com for more information
As the lady on that site says "never read a test after the time limit!"

No I never thought of checking for a change but it just proves how useless they can be at times. Hand a urine sample into your GP & you will get the proper results 2/3 days later for free instead of wasting money on tests that are inaccurate. goodluck!

when you are pregnant you body produces the pregnancy hormine hcg, if you were pregnant it would have come up after 3-5mins, It is possible for the hcg hormone to be present in your body without you being pregnant which is why the manufacturer stats discard test after 15mins

I would do another test if I were you - not reliable after an hour - same thing happened to me and I wasn't pregnant.

No, you cannot read them after a certain number of minutes (I think it's ten?). But, the package says that after that time, the test is void. Sorry.

No, but if it does not come up as pos the first time, then it is usually not pos.
Have you got another one? Try again or go to the docs.
