hey im a smoker just found out im 5 weeks and 2 day pregnant an have cut down alot on smoking but i want to give up completely and am finding it difficult to quit can u wear patches when ur pregnant or will that harm the baby and is it tru that if u drink coke and eat pineapple it will cause a miss carriage ?

i'm 18 years old and told my guy a few weeks ago that i was pregnant. we aren't dating, which makes things worse. but he keeps telling me that i shouldn't tell my parents. and he thinks it's best that he don't tell his until i'm farther along. why is he telling me this?? and how do i convince him that we need to tell them?

My husband's work messed up on our insurance so I do not have any. He makes too much for me to get medicaid which was a last resort. I have called planned parenthood and they don't really seem to know anything. I have called the doctors in the area and they either laughed at me or just hung up. Well, one was nice and just said we don't take patients without insurance. But anyway, I was wondering if anyone may know of any other resources.

I have been with this guy for over 2 years, we are both 19. I became pregnant almost 9 months ago (my due date is any day now)...and a month ago he just left me for good, because he said we were ruining eachothers lives...Ever since i became pregnant, he has not coming home to me,cheating, drinking, going to jail for DUIs, and treating me so horrible, why do i still love him, why do i think about him every second of the day and i am so depressed being alone and about to have this baby girl. my mom tries to keep my happy, she let me move back home, but i miss sleeping in his arms everynight. Its been 10 days since ive called him.....and i called him today and he was just like dont call me it makes it worse for you.so ive been crying ever since.... Is it not hard for him??? how do i not call him...how can i get over him when i only see my future with him. I wanna be strong for my baby...but these feelings of rejection are just breaking me down, i cant even talk without crying.

The answer to everybody is- yes!!! You can get pregnant at anytime. I even have had a friend who was told by her doctor that she couldn't get pregnant and did. Stop asking people you don't know and go get tested by the home tests or even better your doctor. The answer is YES!

okay i started my period on sep 28, 2006 last month and on my ovulation calendar it said that i am able to get pregnant and that was on oct 12, 2006 and yes i know that i should use condoms but that wasnt the question if someone can answer my question the right way do so because i never been pregnant he thinks i am but i just want to get other peoples opinion so please dont get to smart i just need to know i truly dont think that i am but you never know and yes i know that its to early but help me and tell me what should i do

I was smoking pot very heavily when I found out I was pregnant, I told my doctor it was helping with my nausea and he okayed me smoking a little bit to help with it (crazy thing to imagine an OBGYN saying, I know), but I choose to stop smoking it. Well I haven't smoked in about 4-5 weeks and I do not plan to smoke again while pregnant or breast feeding and I am almost 19 weeks now. So basically what I want to know is have their been proven birth defects caused specifically from smoking marijuana in the first 15 weeks of pregnancy? All the studies and things I have found online are inconclusive due to the mother's doing other drugs, drinking and no consistencies in the type of harm done if there was any.

I don't need any berading for smoking it in the past, I stopped when I found out. So please just answer my question and keep any negative comments to yourself. Thanks.

We had sex during her period.. (withdrawal method) and several days after we had a fight.. huge fight.. just two weeks after.. she told me she would have her kidneys chekd( she had kidney problems) she had urinalisis then the result was all about the kidney.. no pregnancy involved.. that was wednesday.. thursday she had ultra sound still for kindeys.. didnt know what really ws the result but she said she was pregnant.. how come when according to the result of the urine she was not and we did it during safe days.. i dont understand.. i find it strange..
is she telling me this because she really is? or just because she doenst want to lose me cuz of our fight? im confused.. were taking a pt later.. i just dont understand..

me and my hubby have been married for 4 yrs and we just started trying to have a baby two months ago. i just finished my period on Oct 4 which was 3 weeks late. a few days after i finished my period i started getting nausea sometimes in the morning or sometimes in the afternoon or at night. ive been getting headaches here and there. I think today im ovulating and ive been feeling slight pain in my right side where my ovary would be. have i been feeling this because i was about to ovulate? has anyone had this during ovulation?

I am into about 8 weeks as a college freshman and recently found out i was pregnant by my boyfriend. I have known him for years and we've been great friends got together about 6 months ago. I am not sure what to do because between the both of us we would not be able to afford a child. And I live on campus about 45 minutes away from where he lives. I am unsure whether to have an abortion or to have a child. Please any advice would help!
