You can still get pregnant. Don't believe the bull about which days are safe to have sex and days you won't get pregnant and such. You can get pregnant any time, day, month, week, etc. Always use protection. Grant it there are times it is less likely depending on when you ovulate but you are always at risk of it. Even on your period!

You are most fertile 8-19 days after the start of your period. That is not to say that you cannot get pregnant any time

Because it's highly unlikely that you are ovulating at that time. Most women ovulate at day 14 of their cycle (count first day of period as day one). Once you've ovulated I think you've only got a couple days in which you can get pregnant.

Because you aren't ovulating then. Try about thirteen to fifteen days after period starts, or get an ovulation test.

Guess what- you can!!!!! People have even been know to get pregnant while having their period. So be very careful and don't let you baby be a mistake.
