Unfortunately cervix position isn't a way to find out if you are in the early stages of pregnancy, as everyone is different. The cervix will eventually rise and soften when pregnant, but this happens at all different stages for different women (some find it happens early on, other not until a few weeks into pregnancy). Same goes for CM. Not an early indicator. I have seen pregnancy charts that indicate a low firm CP in the days following conception, others high and soft, and others a normal combination of all positions in the 2ww. Hope that answers your question.

I tried and tried and tried so many time to do that and its very hard to tell. I do know its supposed to be high and closed and sort of soft like your bottom lip. It does turn a bluish color but you'd have to see a doctor or somehow get a flashlight up there to see that and most people don't have speculum's at home. The most reliable method is a blood pregnancy test done by a doctor.
