Pregnancy - October 2006

i am having blood taken every 48hrs , blood is going up and at firs t did dble +plussed then it is going up but not doubling , i have no pain no bleeding all the simptoms of pregnancy. i am only 5/6 weeks is it ok for it to go up with out doubling?i have had a couple of scans but it was to early to see any thing this is why they are monetering me every 48hrs.i have a scan booked for nxt week soi should be around 7weeks,at the 5 week scan they said they thought they could see a little dot which could be the start but who knows, i am starting to get very stressed when they say yes your blood is going up but not doubleing.please advise me to settle my mind thanx michelle

I have been cramping all month. My boobs have been sore all month too. They normally start to to hurt about a week before my period. It seems like every time i eat now, my stomach becomes EXTREMELY huge. Mind you guys, I dont eat alot at all. ami pregnant?

I am 10 weeks pregnant and I have my first doctor appointment tomorrow....and Im getting kinda nervous because I'm not sure what they are going to do. Does anyone know what they do at the first visit and do they give u an ultrasound??

Stay at home or working mother. Do you consider being a mom a job? Taking care of your children and making sure that they are well cared for whether doing yourself or choosing the right day care. Bieng a mom is the most important job in the world. Am i wrong? Also do all working moms feel that stay at home moms are lazy sitting and watching tv all day and letting there children run a muck? I am a stay at home mom and don't remember the last time i got to sit and watch any tv unless my children were sleeping ( napping or bedtime) Being a mother and a wife whethere working or not is a full time job. Right?

Ever since I became pregnant I feel like a different species! Even though I am very lucky to h ave a great husband and family and friends. I feel like a complete outcast sometimes. But my friends dont call me as much now, probably because I cant drink anymore. I know I am probably just being silly and I know my emotions are all over the place but when I get a little depressed, I dont even want to talk to anyone anymore, they just say. You are just pregnant. AHH! Just wondering if anyone else has felt this way at times.

i just turned 48yrs old, i have had never missed a period unless i was pregnant. Now, i was slowly gaining a little in the stomach area, i took a preg test (over the counter) 2 months ago (neg) at around that time i felt fluttering in my abdomen.? Well, 4 weeks ago all ___ broke loose , fluttering, kicking! This week abdomen popped out , and also alot of regular activity??? It is up very high around my belly button, i am going to a gyn this week, but very scared , i never had my tubes checked in all these yrs and my hubby and i have sex evey night! What do u think, any help or answers out there?What else could be moving like that? just seems strange, also back about 2 months ago had alot of nausea in the morning and eat in the middle of the night alot??

i did two preg test one came up pos and the other came neg.so i went to the doctors and he gave me a blood test and that came back neg too. sometimes in the day i feel sick and its deen over 5 weeks from my last period.but when i go loo i get this dark watery spottie blood but i am not getting any pain. ive booked for a app with the doctoers this after noon. plez plez help.....

On the fast track career-wise (although looking to cool it and get a little more "real" in my life) and long commutes to work. Our house is in process (a fixer upper small historical) and probably will never be "done". I'm not babycrazy, yet, I'm having feelings of really wanting to give to another little person that's all mine and my husband's. It's a decision that's huge and not one you can take back with a receipt. I'm terrified, but feel like I'll regret it if we don't try. I have feelings that I won't be crushed forever if we remain a childless couple (there are benefits to that my friends with children remind me of), so my question is... if I'm not babycrazy, but want a baby, is this right for me? Has anyone my age felt this way? You've gotten this far with your spouse, like your life, want to add to it, but wouldn't be broken if you didn't? Or are all parents-to-be out there on a single track about having kids and I'm just one of those people that shouldn't consider it?

i am trying for a baby and usually my peirods lat 6 or 7 days and are quite heavy, this month i had a short extremly light period and then two weeks later had another one could i be pregnant? when should i take a test? can tests be wrong if you carry on having periods whilst being pregnant? has anyone else else experienced this help is much apreciated thatnk you xx

my doctor is out of town and will only be back on Monday but im really worried because ive been seeing a white discharge sometimes its like mucus and sometimes its not and it doesnt come alot its just a bit., and the baby moves alot and its sometimes painfull whether its kiking or just moving i dont know. Aloe vera is a natural laxative is it safe to use.why does that mucus come out what indication is it giving good or bad.

I was about a size 7 before i got pregnant, i wasnt stick skinny but i was fit and did have a flat stomach. I am only 2 and a half months pregnant and people think i am 5 months. I got big so quick, it was like i woke up and was big. is this normal. i eat healthy and and do exercises that are suitable for pregnant woman. Is it ok?

Ok I have two questions the first one is for my friend, she had sex when she was spotting really lightly and the guy did *** inside of her, can she still get pregnant when she was spotting? My second question is how early can you start getting pregnancy symptoms? My period was on the 16th I had unprotected sex on the 21st and had light spotting after and then it got a little darker then light so it was off and on. Then my breast started to feel sore yesterday and they feel sore today too.So I wanted to know if it's all in my head or could I have symptoms this early?

My girlfriend that I work with is avoiding me completely since a blabbermouth let it out that I was pregnant. I was not even going to tell her because I know they have been trying to have a baby for many years now, and I did not want to be rude or insensitive...plus, I'm still rather shocked and upset about being pregnant again myself.

Strangely, she was very nice to me when I met her and I had my newborn, (now one year old) but another friend told me today that she said some cruel things about me and I don't understand because I went out of my way to help her when she first got here, and I thought we were better than this. We usually chat every morning and have coffee together, but not since yesterday after the word got out. I feel bad for her, but it took me many years to get pregnant with my first baby as well, and my husband has a very poor sperm count. I have been there before. I wish she would not be so mean to me, I won't even talk about "baby" anything. I'm not too excited.

I am prego with 1st baby and since 10 days I get the charleys horse in mostly my left leg. It always starts in my pinky toe and tow finger and then moves up the nerve to my leg which is then a crampy pain type of feeling. It happens at any hour of the night. Starts slight, then strong and sometimes I have to move my feet to get the cramp to end. It it painful.. some are medium-mild pain, others are pretty painful though. I think of this as a good practice to get me ready to tolerate pain in labor as women have told me that labor starts out as period cramps and intensifies 15 times more or so. Well then these leg cramps or charleys horse whether mild or intense, I don't move I hold still and tolerate the pain. If I can tolerate that pain, is that fine then? Or am I crazy? I dont know. ANything I can do to relieve the charley horse that always starts up in my pinky toe and toe finger? if i wiggle my toe, sometimes the pain worsens. holding still generally makes the pain go

About 4 years ago I had an ovary removed but since then I have had regular periods. When my husband and I fool around we use a condom but most of the time he will go in without anything first.But just for a sec. I have now missed my period. It is late by about 2 weeks but i have taken 2 hpt and a blood test and all show negative.

I am 27 and pregnant with my second child (first child is 12). Other than my husband, none of my family (or even his family) has been very supportive or offered any help (such as working on baby's room, buying items, etc.). Right now I don't really have many friends, I run a business and take care of my family and pets and that is about all I can fit in. The problem is I go to work (in three different counties) and people there are constantly asking me if I will be inviting them to my baby shower. Some of these people didn't pay a lick of attention to me until they found out I was pregnant. I never planned on having a baby shower and have been picking up needed items since I found out I was pregnant. I can't even afford to throw a party at this point since my insurance doesn't cover my pregnancy costs. So my question is - do I throw a party for all these people I don't really care for (my own family won't even be there) or just let it go and not have one???
