Just ask for an appointment....They don't always ask why you are making the appointment....If they do ask, just tell them that you suspect that you are pregnant. At this point I would just make an appointment with your GP, unless you have a separate OB/GYN if you do call that person.

Oh!! Just make a call and say I need help. There is nothing adventerious. I am still amazed on the type of question you have asked but I can understand your feelings. Being mom is the greatest happiness for a lady

I just call and say I took a test and it says Im pregnant. I need to make an appointment.

You say that you just found out you are pregnant and you need to come in for your first appointment. Or you can schedule an appointment for a check up with your regular doctor and tell them when u get there.

Tell them your name, and that you have missed your period and a home pregnancy test has confirmed that you are pregnant, and you would like to set up a prenatal visit with the doctor. You go in and they will do another pregnancy test to confirm for insurance purposes. The will do a pelvic exam, and draw blood for testing, they will also give you a breast exam and feel around on your tummy, take your medical history as well as family history. it s a long drawn out process on the first visit, but will give them a good foundation to start with taking care of you and your baby during pregnancy.

I have an established ob doctor and I always talk to her nurse before making an appointment...my ob doctor wants to verify through a blood or urine first before going ahead with an exam and all the necessary blood work of the first appointment..good luck
