your uterus will be 1000 times it's normal size by the time the baby is ready to be born. the baby doesn't run out of room. it does get a little tight in there for them right before delivery, but dont fret. he'll be snug, warm and fine in there.

It depends. My coworker was huge by the time she delivered her son and the doctors thought she would have an 8 lb baby. After he was born, he only weighed 4 lbs! They usually don't let you deliver vaginally if the baby's 8 or more lbs. There's a high risk of the shoulders getting stuck in the birth canal which then they'd have to either break the collar bone or perform an emergency c-section (that would also run the risk of the baby suffocating in the birth canal). My sister's ex-mother-in-law delivered a 13 lb baby vaginally, so it can be done, but doctors don't like to take that kind of a risk nowadays. (That was over 40 yrs ago she had that baby!) Usually your last trimester the baby doesn't gain too much more weight.

Not too sure how much the womb will swell without putting baby in trouble but my dad weighed 14lbs and was a natural dly, my first child over 12lbs and it took me 7Min's to deliver her.

We stretch a lot.
Delivery depends on the size of the mother as well. I've heard of 20 pound babies being natural - but the mom's were good sized.
Really depends on the pelvis (and the doctor!)

After a certian size the baby will be taken c-section so there is no risk to mother and baby, I have seen some pretty big bellies so who knows how big it can get.

20 lb. newborn!!!! Ghees! There is no way a doctor would let that happen now adays. That could kill a girl!
I think it also depends on the size of the mother and if her hips spread making room in the birth canal.

it is quite incredible but yes it just keeps going-i saw a programme about mum of quads, and it seems that nature also has a get out clause-
multiple pregnancy people deliver earlier on average than women with single babies and my obstetrician pal says she has seen women of 5ft deliver babies weighing10 lb naturally no stitches , women are incredible arent they?
