i don't know why but i have this overwhelming sence of terror right now. i feel nervous like scared and for no reason. im fine my children are napping i just checked on them. my husband just called everyone and everything is just fine. i just made my first doctors appt. ( im pregnant about 6 weeks now. ) Everything is fine but for some reason i feel scared nervous has anyone esle felt this way? for no reason? i have felt this before but i was not pregnant then and i know that you should not stress out when you are . so how do i make myself calm down when i don;t know what is wrong?

i started takin bcp (cilest) in may 2006 i was experience breakthrough bleeding every month that would last for over a week. i went to see the dr mid august he told me the pill wasnt working because it wasnt strong enough for me, i decided i would use another brand once ide finnished the pack. the pack ended on september the 3rd and i started bleeding on the 5th of september the bleeding was just spotting at first 2 days later i came completely off the following day more bleeding last half a day the the rest days was just light bleed on and off finally stopping for good on the 15th of september. i figured i would count 28 days from the 5th of september becuse my cycle has never been over 28 days so i took a test on the 3rd of october it was negative then i took another on the 5th 10th still negative i must add that 2 days befor the 3rd of october i got a pain like the pain u get just befor ya period start ever since i felt nausea sometimes nearly being sick also exteme tirdness.

despite my efforts I made going to the dr. and hosp to try and find out what was wrong me. fever of 104, high B.P. etc. It wasn't till 11 days later when I demanded an ultrasound that they found that peices of placenta were retained. The next day I was scheduled for a D&C right when they were about to send me home they found that my body was hemmoraging and my blood pressure was lowering. I was rushed to the E.R. for a surgery. I lost 4 pints of blood, therefor they gave me 2 units of blood transfusion. My doctor said another 30 mins and I would have died. 5 days later I'm sent to a different hosp. for another surgery. I was told when I was released that I had a 5% chance of conceiving another child and if i did it could be a difficult process and I may be in the same place.11 months later I find out my 5 different birth control wasnt working and I'm 6 weeks preg. I"m scared for my life. Its so soon, and my body still had issues i was seein a dr. for. What would U do in my situtation?

I''l start with the actual story. My partner and i tried to have sex for the first time with a condom on but didnt manage because he's penis was too big or i'm too tight. Then we tried to do it without a condom. He thrusted but still couldnt penetrate. This happened on the 30th of sept and i have got my period on the 19th of sept. We tried with a condom again on the 7th but still didnt manage and so he tried to penetrate again but still couldnt manage. even without a condom. Now i'm worried because while thrusting he might have had some pre-ejeculate. but is it possible? because it wasnt stimulated cos he was just trying to put it in. Last night i was feeling dizzy and i woke up feeling dizzy but then i drank a lot during the day and i felt better . Also i urinated quite a lot today but i think the liquids that i drank induced my frequent urination.My period is supposed to be coming soon. I'm stressing quite a lot. what do you think the chances of me being preg are ?

had cramping like period pains for about a week now, went to doc thinking I had an infection and when he examined me he said the pain was comming from the babies head coming down opening my pelvic bones, he wasn't to worried about baby getting ready but kept saying he cant force me to stay off my feet but labor hasn't started "YET"(he said that more than once.) and gave me tests to see if i will be delivering within the next two weeks and an ultra sound to see if I am dialating. im only 30 weeks I dont know if this is normal for 30 weeks or if I should be nervous and stay off my feet. Is sex a no no (my husband is wondering?) could labor be coming? Contractions are more regular but nothing serious, I thought that was normal.HELP

The first day of my last period was 22 august. I had unprotected sex on the 14th september. Don't have my period up to now.

I did a urine pregnancy test on the 9th october, which was negative. I was advised to go see a gyno if i dont have my period by oct 20.

But i dont know what to do! I don't have a job (just finished school and looking). My parents dont know. My b/f knows - he only just got a job and they're still training him, so he's not home. I can't handle a baby right now. Also who is going to hire a *young* pregnant woman? My parents are not going to stand for it, neither my b/f's parents.

My b/f and I plan to get married, but we can't do so now. With his job and training, he's going to be away most of the time. I still need to get a job....

What should I do?

I cant get comfortable until I am sleeping on my back. I know during pregnancy it is recommended you sleep on your rigt or left.. but its okay to sleep on your back until a certain time.
Does any one know what that time is?
up til how many weeks is it okay for you to sleep onn your back
currently I am 11wks4days.

I'm pregnant and the father of my unborn baby doesn't want anything to do with it. He says he is not ready for a baby. I just wish there were still some good men out there. This is going to be so hard taking care of my baby on my own. I know I messed up,..but I guess that is what I get for listening to his lies. I'll be 20 next month and I live on my own and I work in a law firm,..I don't know how I will have anyone to help take care of my baby......This is so overwhelming....any advice will help.

I have 3 kids and day care is expensive so I stay home with them. I work part time 2 evenings for 2.5 hours each per week as a hair dresser. But it isnt enough for me. My husband doesnt want me to work more but I love working. Ever since I was 15 I worked and its hard to stay home that much. So I picked up a part time cash job as a bar tender at a bar 2 blocks from home. My husband and I occasionaly hang out there. I only work one night a weekday and everyother weekend he is giving me a hard time Its great $$ and my kids are asleep is it wrong to say Im not quitting.

I took two at home pregnancy tests, both were very positve (dark line) That was almost one week ago that I found out. I have some symptoms, like headaches, quesyness, light cramps, breast tenderness, and very tired. But I still dont "feel" pregnant. I am constantly worried that something is wrong, I am always wanted to take another test just to have proof to myself that I am pregnant. But a part of me doesnt want to take the test because I dont want it to be negative. My question is how do I convince myself, has anyone felt like this, and two positive tests would be right, right? I am so nervous because this pregnancy was very much wanted and has taken a long time, I am scared of miscarraige. Thanks for any imput.

At my 18 week checkup next Tues, the OB is going to talk to me about optional down syndrome, spina bifida and alpha protein that they test for. just curious, is it only one blood test they give us to check for all the symptoms and then let us know if it came positive or negative right? how many of you actually got the test done? since it's optional I ask cause if it is positive then the OB may run more tests and certainly do Amniocentises which is not good for the baby or in any case good for me.

Another question! I have some friends who take their little babies up to a year out every month to celebrate each month till they are 1 year. Today is my friend's little girls 6-month birthday. I can just write to my friend: Hope your daughter is doing well. Congrats on her 6 month birthday" That sound nice and all?
