I had a sister-in-law (now ex praise the Lord) that had over 15 abortions from the age of 12 to 29, when she decided to have kids. She had no trouble becoming pregnant and birthing two kids naturally over 5 years. She also had 6 more abortions, until her doctor finally gave her a hysterectomy at 38 years of age.

I take it that really depends on the procedure she had done (they scrape out the unborn baby so that could have done a lot of damage). Obviously the first one didnt ruin her chances of getting pregnant so it's just about the second one that she needs to worry about. It's a shame she wasnt ready back then to have children. She needs to be prepared for the possibility she cant have children, but seems like she has a good possibility of getting pregnant again. She's fertile enough!

P.S. Oh my dear goodness, 21 abortions!!! Absolutely ridiculous. Buy a condom, take the pill, for heaven's sake!!!

has she had any problems physically? if any damage was done (which I doubt) then it would be difficult but since more than likely no damage or scaring was done, then she shouldn't have a problem. A lot of her worries are just paranoia. If she's truly worried, tell her to talk to her doctor about her worries. Her doctor can even do a workup to make sure she's physically okay to have children.

that has nothing to do with it.My best friend had 2 abortions years ago and she's pg now. I had one 8 years ago and I'm pregnant now.I'm not defending abortion (actually I regret it) but she will be able to have kids, tell her not to worry.

Not usually, unless someone did something wrong or there was a complication of some kind.

I have read repeated abortions can cause miscarriages or infertility, but I'm not sure that 2 is considered repeated.

If the abortion was uncomplicated and she had no infection afterward, she should be just fine. It shouldn't affect conception at all. STDs can cause fertility issues. An abortion or two should not.

no, she will be fine. Your body isnt effected unless she had mutiple ones. I knew this girl that had 4 by the time she graduated highschool, and then another one right after (yes, she was a wh*re)and now she has 2 kids of her own.

She can still have children unless there is something medically wrong with her. It just takes time, and happens in most cases unexpectedly. Just calm her and keep her occupied on other things.
