i need all the ladies to help me out, i took the First Response early preg test and one line is definately there and the other line is there also but it isnt as dark as the other one but i cand definately see it is that a yes!!??!?!!!!

YES!! any positive line - even if it's lighter than the control line - is a positive test. give your Dr. a call and they can confirm it with a blood test.

Okay, I had 2 first response tests that had a definate line and another light line. Well, here I am 24 weeks pregnant. So, I would say you are definately pregnant. Sometimes, if you don't use the morning's first urine or you took the test before your expected period, they tend to show up a bit lighter. You could call your doctor and ask for them to give you a test just to be sure, otherwise, take the test again in a few days. I am sure it will come out possitive though. Congrats.

You are definitely pregnant. Even if the line is faint it has detected the hormone needed to show up. My husband "knew" I was pregnant a week before my period was even due and I took a First Response test and got extremely faint results. We took that as a yes and immediately went to my OBGYN for a blood test. The results came back to confirm what we had already thought. I was pregnant with my third child while my second was only 7 months old and my first was 19 months. I don't think you can get a false positive on a pregnancy test only false negatives because of hormone levels. Good Luck and Congrats.

Congrats!!! That is what happened with me when I was pregnant with my daughter, wait to take the other test in the morning when your urine is the strongest and you will probably get a stronger line, but either way a line is a line

That is how mine was and no matter how faint the line it's most ALWAYS a positive. Sometimes the line is very faint because of the hormone level in your body but if you see any line at all it is positive. Make a doctor's appointment

sure is a positive, i took the same test twice cause i got such a light line come to find out i was pregnant. it may be because your not that far along but any dont go have your ob-gyn test to too. congrats and good luck.

Congratulations mommy! The second line doesn't have to be dark. A light second line is a second line and that means you are having a baby. Good luck.

Yaaaaaa, I am sure you are pregnant that is what mine did make sure you dip it in a cup so you don't pee too much, but if the second one has a second line also then I am pretty sure you are congrats, you must be overwhelmed with Joy

Typically, if the line shows up you are pregnant, even if it is a lighter color. Taking a second test is a good idea anyway.

the same thing happened to me and i took the first response and guess what i am 8 almost 9 weeks pregnant! you might have to wait a little longer but i the other line is there then it is postive!
