I took a pregnancy test this morning and it was positive (I'm so excited)---- Thanx to all those who took the time to give their advice and it was worth it-- ok so if my lmp was aug. 31-06 how far away am i in my pregnancy???

Congrats...well by my calculations(go back 3 mons up 7 days)(how i figured mine and was always just a day or two from what Dr. said) your due date is approximately June 6th. So you're like 6 wks. Hope all works for ya...

Congratulations! That is wonderful news. Your due date would be on or around 7 June, 2007. There are a couple of web-sites w/ pregnancy calculators. My 2 favorites are the 2 below:

You perhaps mean to say how far you are from becoming a mother.In rough calculation a mature delivery takes about nine months from the date of preghancy though some women deliver also after seven months. However, in such cases the child may be feeble and would need extra attention. So hold on till May for your creation.Best of luck. Let it be a bonny baby.

Congratulations!! I know the feeling! what a joy! you are 6 weeks pregnant (it counts since the first day of your last menstrual period,isn't it funny, those 2 weeks before ovulation count as pregnancy weeks) a full term pregnancy is about 40 weeks.

They actually calculate the date from the start of your last period, & it's 40 weeks ...more like 10 months.
