I took two at home pregnancy tests, both were very positve (dark line) That was almost one week ago that I found out. I have some symptoms, like headaches, quesyness, light cramps, breast tenderness, and very tired. But I still dont "feel" pregnant. I am constantly worried that something is wrong, I am always wanted to take another test just to have proof to myself that I am pregnant. But a part of me doesnt want to take the test because I dont want it to be negative. My question is how do I convince myself, has anyone felt like this, and two positive tests would be right, right? I am so nervous because this pregnancy was very much wanted and has taken a long time, I am scared of miscarraige. Thanks for any imput.

Relax! Its only 5 weeks pregnant. Wait till you are about 2-3 months, it would definitely show and feel.

Hunni you don't need another test. Believe it cos you have just described all the symptoms of early pregnancy. Being dog tired and queasy is a sign that all is going well and your hormones are in overdrive! The tests are very very accurate and you have done 2- don't wate your cash the baby will need it!
Congratulations I wish you joy and happiness!Takes a while to get your head around it though. You hardly dare believe it because you can't see much on the outside and of course you probably haven't made it public knowledge yet so people don't treat you any different.
Miscarriage is a fact of life and a horrible worry to all preganant ladies. Do your homework and adjust your lifestyle to give your baby the best. Cut out the cigarettes and booze ( not to mention drugs, liver and listeria contiaing foods), eat well (making sure you get lots of folic acid) and get some early nights. There is nothing more that you can do- what will be will be. Be very kind to yourself.
I was jsut like you and didn't believe it til I got a scan and didn't buy any baby things until 39 weeks!.

I am about 5 weeks pregnant w/ my 3rd baby right now. I felt the same way w my 1st one, and I am always a little nervous at this point. I think it's just hard before you start showing to really FEEL pregnant. Just relax, it will come. You do need to call your OBGYN or Midwife & start seeing them soon. My 1st appointment isn't until the end of November, but I know if I have any questions or concerns, I can call anytime.
Because this is your first one, your OB may want to see you a little sooner, just to run a blood test. In fact, if you are worried about it, call and have them do a blood test to test for pregnancy, that may ease your mind to have it confirmed by a doctor.

Don't worry you ARE pregnant. It is too early to feel pregnant. The symptoms you are having are right on cue. They are a sign that everything is going very well. You will start feeling pregnant around your 4 month maybe even your 3. Oh, by the way the baby does have a heartbeat right now which cannot be heard but can be seen on ultrasound and the baby is not even the size of a peanut yet.
Take care of yourself

I gave birth in May to my son{my second child}. Im 35 years old. The entire time I was pregnant I worried something was wrong, I never felt "pregnant" just "fat". I didnt allow myself to become attached to my baby because I had a fear something would happen to him and we'd lose him. All of this because when I was 22 I had a child at 23 weeks gestation and it scared me for life! I think the first time you hear its little heart beat, or feel it move you'll be more at ease. Take another test if you want and make an appointment to see your OB as soon as you can. He or she will listen to your questions and concerns and address them. I had an amazing highrisk OB Dr with my son that I wouldnt trade the world for. I wish you the best in finding one like him.

First thing you need to do is relax. Second thing is, go to your doctor's office and have the blood test and have yourself checked to make sure all is good. When you get the positive result from the blood test, go to the bookstore and buy a book called "What to expect when you are expecting". This is the best book you will find that gives you step by step details on what is happening to your body. You won't actually feel pregnant until you start showing. Mine was when I was 5 months along, but it varies from woman to woman. Make sure you take the prenatal vitamins and take good care of yourself. The first trimester (3 months) is your most critical. Stay away from caffeine and just have happy thoughts of being pregnant. Congratulations and GOD bless you.

First RELAX. You don't need to have symptoms to be pregnant. on my 2 pregnancies I never ONCE felt sick. No morning sickness, no breast pains, NOTHING. Only contractions. Relax if you worry that will not be good for the baby.
You should go to your OBGYN to start getting wellcare services. Your baby is the most important thing, and you want to make sure there is nothing wrong. Also you want to make sure the embrio is not in the fallopian tubes, that would be bad for you, as if it doesn't move it will grow there and rupture your tube.
Just be patient, soon you will start getting hungry and tired. This is the norm during the 1st trimester. Take care and GOod Luck!

There are no false positives only false negatives. The test detects a hormone hcg that is only present in pregnacy so if its positive your pregnant but if you are too early along there may not be enough hcg for the test to detect it but still could be pregnant. Im Sorry, I never had the problem getting pregnant. My husband just takes off his pants and nine months later......3 times!!

You probably will not "feel" pregnant for awhile. I mean you are only 5 weeks. You do have symptoms and maybe they will subside for a few weeks and maybe they will become stronger. I did not feel my baby flutter (it feels like a real butterfly) in my stomach until I was 4 months along. So don't worry. You should make an appointment with an OB/gyn anyway to determine exactly how far along you are and when you are do and how to take care of yourself.

Relax. Worrying about it won't make it happen and if you are indeed pregnant, worrying isn't good for you.
Usually you should be able to count on two tests to be correct, but make a doctors appt. to confirm. Plus, you need to get your prenatal checkup and once you do that you can get on with being happy about it.
Your doctor should know of your concerns and the risks and he or she will keep you informed on what is normal.
Go to the library and get tons of books. Enjoy being pregnant! Don't be so down on yourself with worry and fear.
Good luck!
Hey....got any names picked out? That's always part of the fun!

Lack of symptoms isnt a sign of pending miscarriage. Relax.
Why do all women think they need to be miserable when pregnant? You really dont. Some lucky women feel great through pregnancy. I know I have. Stop trying to complicate it and just focus on getting ready for your new baby.
