i am 19 weeks pregnant and had a bit of a fall this morning, the nurse told me to stay laying still for the day, so i am laying in bed and i feel the baby move, which has been happening for a couple weeks, this time i put a little pressure where i felt him and he pushed back. it was so awesome to feel him push against my fingers. i would like to hear other peoples first experience like this. it is such a happy time.

My wife is on the pill, she is supposed to have her period this week since her pack is done.

Yesterday she felt sick all day, she came home from work and laid on the couch and slept all day.

She didn’t have a fever, but felt like she was going to throw up when she sat up or walked.

She couldn’t eat anything because it made her stomach hurt.

No throwing up, no diarrhea and no cold symptoms.

She said her head hurt so bad and her joints ached.

Are these pregnancy symptoms or flu symptoms?

Should we get her a test?

Has anyone else in early pregnancy suffered from muscle twitching in the tummy? Its too soon for the baby to be moving - so is this normal?

I'm 5 weeks pregnant and so far everything has been going really well. When I woke up this morning, I was spotting bright red blood. 3.5 hours later I'm not spotting. Why would this happen?
This is my fourth pregnancy, I have one child and had 2 miscarriages. Each time I miscarried I spotted brown. Is spotting normal at this point?

I'm at work and about 3 hours ago they poured bleach in the A/C unit. The whole office STILL reeks of it. I'm 11 weeks pregnant. Is this safe? Should I go home???? If so, what do I say to my boss?

He was absolutely perfect with no disabilities and weighed over 7lbs but he died suddenly during labour ( His heart was so strong all along, just stopped suddenly) . All I can do is blame myself because I am a smoker. The dr said it could be a number of reasons. Baby was distressed, overdue, long labour (over 48 hours). All I can do is blame myself. My friends say hundreds of smokers have live births everyday. Is it true ? Did any other smokers lose their baby at term or over term ??

I'm 33 weeks pregnant and have been really excited to be having a baby, but for the last few days I've been feeling really low and just feel like I want to cry all the time. I'm worried I'll be alone, even though my partner is there for me 100% and keep worrying I'll be a bad mum. I even cried watching Hollyoaks! I hate seeing other pregnant women or hearing about other women who've had babies as I feel really jealous (illogical I know) and although I feel my baby moving all the time I fear the worst when the birth happens.
Any advice or words of wisdom are most welcome

I am 38 weeks and 4 days pregnant i recently went to the hospital and was diaginosed with a UTI and my doc prescribed me with macrodantin but on the paper from the pharmacy it states that you should'nt take it if you are 38 -42 weeks pregnant or during labor and delivery or if you are breastfeeding which i plan on doing i am due in 11 days and i have to take this for 10 of them so how would i not take it during labor and delivery if i went into labor any day.i can't ask my doctor because he is an a*^hole. so i was wondering if there were any women out there who had a uti in that late of pregnancy and took this medication or any other antibiotic.

I've always had perfectly regular periods before and while I was on birth control (for about 3 yrs). I stopped birth control last month. My period was due 3 days ago, and has not come. I took a home pregnancy test 3 days ago, which turned out negative, and I went for a pregnancy blood test yesterday and I'm waiting on the results. The brown spotting just started this morning, and is making me worried. Could I be pregnant, and if not, what is this brown discharge? Is it withdrawal bleeding (if so, does it mean I'm not pregnant since it is considered a period?) Thanks

I am 15 weeks and was prescribed Zofran yesterday. Since I've been taking it, my stomach and lower back kind of cramp, like I'm about to start my period or something and I didn't know if that was normal for the meds or maybe just coincidentally my back/stomach started hurting when I took the meds. Did you have to stay on the medicine for the rest of the pregnancy? Any other side effects?

The first day of my last period was July 26, 2006. I am on the pill, but missed a few. I was supposed to start my period again on August 23 or 24 and begin my new pack of pills on the 27th. I took two home pregnancy tests and both came out negative. It is now the 29th of August and I still haven't started. Is it too early to tell? According to the online calculators, I would be about 4 weeks and 5 days. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The condom was never entirely in me, it was hanging out. I would not be worried except he spilled it a little when he took it out. I am just worried about pregnancy we have been married for less than 1 year and are in graduate school and neither of us are ready for this. We are usually really responsible but for some reason not so much this time. Help!

I have my first appointment with my high risk ob and I need help with what questions to ask. I lost my baby at almost 20 weeks 4 months ago due to her umbilical cord being wrapped around her neck 3 times. I have undergone gentetics and chromisional test with my husband and they have came back negative and we were given the ok to try again, so now i'm 11 weeks pregnant and seeing a high risk doctor. I have a list of questions to ask about this pregnancy and how he plans to watch over it but I feel i'm leaving some out, any ideas or advic e?
