I am 36 weeks pregnant. I didn't lose my mucous plug all at once. I lost it over 2-3 days but then about 4 days later I started having the discharge.

If you are 36 weeks, and have been noticing any type of bloody discharge and are concerned about anything that looks discolored or 'puss-like', then you really need to call you OBGYN and explain what is going on. If you really did loose your mucous plug then you should have started labor already. Your best bet is to talk to your doctor, not people online. There is a possibility that something is wrong with the baby.

You shouldn't have anything a week after you lose your mucous plug.......that usually happens 24-48 hours before you have the baby...have you told your doctor?? Have you started labor yet?

its just your cervix and mucous plug.

Just make sure there isn't a foul order then that may mean you have an infection.

This all does depend on how far along you are. If you are 38 - 40 weeks there's no worries. Just make sure your water hasn't broke..... consult your OBGYN

You need to call your doctor. How far along are you? I lost my baby girl at 21 weeks, 1 day after losing my mucus plug

The plug doesn't always come out all at once it can come out a little bit at a time. What you see is more plug with some "bloody show"

Congrats...you will have your baby soon. Bloody Show is just another sign that things are progressing.

Everyone and every pregnancy is different. With my daughter, I lost it gradually over about 2 weeks, it started out with just a little clear-yellow for about a week, then brown-pink for about a week, then for about 2 days there was a whooole lot, and then I finally went into labor.

could be residual plug, but a week after, you should be having your baby by now, go see a doctor

Sounds like an infection. You need to see your doc, nurse or midwife before things get worse. Don't you owe it to your baby?Do it now,not tomorrow please
