These sound like flu symptoms. If she is taking the pill correctly then there is a tiny tiny chance that she is pregnant. Wait and see if her period comes. She doesn't sound pregnant.

These sound more like flu symptoms than anything. She may have a cold or maybe allergies. However, nausea, upset stomach, fatigue and aches and pains are associated with pregnancy symptoms as well. There are other pregnancy symptoms to look for as well - sore breasts, light spotting or a missed period, morning sickness, etc. Since her period should be here shortly you should wait and see if her period does come. If it doesn't then she should definitely take a home pregnancy test. First Response is accurate and can be taken about 3 to 4 days before her period is due. Otherwise if her symptoms last longer than a week she should see a doctor.

It could be any number of things, most of them not too grave. The aching joints and headache suggest flu, and the other symptoms are also in line with that condition, but there are other possibilities.
Did she have any tingling in her limbs, any numbness or slow responses? Did she seem inchoherent or wandering or confused? If you answered yes to any of these questions, see your doctor immediately.
Probably it is only flu--though the nausea is commonly held to be a symptom of pregancy as well, the others are not--but BC pills can cause strokes, also, and this is not a circumstance you want to ignore. If she continues to feel this way, without clear indications of the flu, she should see her doctor anyway. One can conceive on BC pills, and the sooner one knows and quits taking them, the better for both mother and child.

She should take a test. Nausea and tiredness are signs of pregnancy. I've also heard of women having headaches, but I never experience them. Are her breasts or nipples tender? I would at least rule out pregnancy before taking any medications. She can also make an appointment with the doc. They can do a blood test, which is more accurate than a home test. My OB said that the pill only stays in your system for 24 hours, which is why you have to take one everyday. If she missed a pill or took one late - especially around ovulation time, she could be pregnant. Also, the pill is only 99% effective. There have been women who got pregnant on the pill.

I'd get a test to be on the safe side. Since she is on birth control if she is pregnant you want her to get off of it as soon as possible. Also if the test comes back neg. but in two weeks she doesn't have a period yet have her take another one. Her HCG levels may not be high enough yet. And if for some weird reason she still hasn't had a period within another 2 weeks after that have her go to obgyn to have a blood test done.

Being very tired and the nausea are definite symptoms of pregnancy. The achiness and chills is not a normal symptom. You could contact your OB so you don't feel stressed about it. Praying that all goes well.

It could be either because virus' and pregnancy have many similar side effects. Wait three weeks, and if she doesnt have her period by then, have her take a test. And keep in mind tests arent always accurate and she could still have her period while pregnant, altough that is rare. She is probably just sick though.

my wife's friend is a nurse from the symptoms you described it sounded like she might just a flu and if her stomach hurt she might have a stomach virus. But i'm not sure maybe you should take her to urgent care just to make sure she's ok.

Could be alot of things. Could be allergies. I have allergies that make my head hurt, upset stomach. ect.. take her to the doctor if the symptoms persist just in case of other problems. They can test her there and see what the problem might be if she isn't pregnant.

To me it sounds like flu symtons. There are all sorts of crazy bugs going around. However, to be sure you can pick up a HPT and if symptons persist, you should have your wife see your family doctor! Good luck and hope she feels better soon!
