Yes!! Usually quite a bit. If you think about it, average weight gain during pregnancy is 25-35lbs. Average baby size is 7-8lbs, so the rest of that is placenta and water. I know after the gush, you feel lighter for sure!!

Yes, the weight of the water that exits your body.
I'm sure you will gain it quickly back if you drink a glass of water.
Why worry about your weight? You are about to have a baby right after that anyway and you'll lose 6-10 pounds! hahaha

Yes. You lose a ton of weight instantly when that baby pops out along with the after birth. It's like the relief after bad gas.

Of course--whatever the fluid weighed. More importantly, you have the baby. Ideally, anyway. And you should lose some of the weight when the child is born--differs according to how much you gained, and how much of it is baby and placenta.

Not really. You might lose a big gush of it, but amniotic fluid replenishes itself every 30 minutes, so the few ounces you lose when it breaks are regained within the hour.

Well in the fact that it usually means the baby will be born soon I guess you could look at it that way. I never weighed myself at that point and time.. Humm wonder if anyone has run to the bathroom at that moment worrying about weight. Would be interesting to see if anyone did. This is a funny question thanks for the laugh.
