My 16 year old sister is pregnant. Our parents are very traditional and would blow their tops if they found out she had sex. Also, the father is nt the type of person my parents would be happy as the father of their grandchild.I think that if they know my sister is pregnant, they might disown her and the baby. What should she do?

I'm a 40 yr old single mother of 4 wonderful boys. My youngest is 3 years old. I had my tubes tied when I had him in 2003. Imagine my surprise when I found out i'm pregnant again!

The reason I had my tubes tied is i have less than a 1% chance of living through another pregnancy. I have heart disease, eclampsia, gestational diabetes, i've had 4 c-sections and very high blood pressure. My youngest was 6 weeks premature and 14.1 lbs at birth!

Now, i do NOT belive in abortion, but i'm also worried about leaving my sons with no one to care for them. I have no living family and the boys would probably go to foster homes. The fathers have never paid any child support.

I'm most likely only 4 weeks along. I've seen the pictures of 6-7 week abortions and they are horrible. I would never willingly put a little life through that. But my living children need me too!

Advise? Suggestions? prayers? The doctor today said he didn't seen anything on the sonogram, but the 'pee test' positive

Just seeing if anyone else was able to do this with permission from the nurse or doctor? Ive had sleeping problems before I got pregnant and I stopped taking them when I found out. Anyone have any kid of experience with this? Would they give you a prescription sleeping aid instead? Help anyone?

I am a size 14 now, even before the pregnancy. I have a little bit of a tummy, but I think that is mostly due to my wieght, not the pregnancy. My stomach feels a little harder than normal. Some of my pants are a little tighter. When will I look pregnant. Also, I haven't had any morning sickness, just occassional queasiness. Does this mean that something is wrong?

A friend of mine is expecting triplets in Oct and she must remain off her feet until then. Can you suggest things she could do to pass the time? This is a 28 yr old, first pregnancy and up to this time in her life, a very active individual. We need to help her save her sanity and that of those around her. Rest is one option, but she can't sleep for 3 months! HELP!!!

Is it safe to take the pill if you might be pregnant? I don't have a Dr. Appointment until the 15th of this month. I don't know if I am but I been on the pill and I am late this month for a cycle. I was wondering if it is okay to keep taking the pill because maybe my cycle is all messed up - I started late last month as well. Sooo is it going to be okay if I keep taking the pill - I assume the people that don't find out they are prego. for months that take the pill continue taking it because they did not know.

I just got a positive pregnancy test two days ago. I called my doctor and i got tomorrow for blood work but my first offical visit about the pregnancy isn't for another week and half. I am so scared. I did a pregnancy calendar to see how long i am from my last period and it estimates 8 weeks. I am getting prenatal viatamins tomorrow but today i started worrying about if my baby is okay, if it could have been a false positive, have i misscarriaged, and i am so scared. i want to be able to carry my baby all the way through this..... should i really be this worried. My breast were killing me up until 2 days ago.. they are still tender but not like they were well only really inthe mornings do they hurt bad. can this be a sign that somethings wrong with my tenderness decreasing. please someone help. this is my first pregnancy and i am so excited but worried about so much .

If a woman goes to the doctor and is pregnant and she continues to smoke and by testing her blood for nicotine she is still smoking that they would lock the women in a treatment center until after the baby is born so the child doesnt have to live with its moms horrible choice? I think when your pregnant your body isnt just yours anymore and its wrong to hurt a child like that...they have no choice.

I'm 27 weeks pregnant and have been having stomach cramps all day long. I know what Braxton Hicks feel like and this feels a little different - they're on the sides of my stomach as well as lower tummy. It hurts to breathe and happens at rest and when I'm moving. I've also been feeling pressure in my rectum and my tailbone is hurting, not sure if this is related or not. Does anyone have any ideas?

Cause in relation to my last question,
we called the doctor.

He said that we just need to try again, but I have to hold it in for about 30 minutes,
we tried,
and she was in complete tears,
she said felt like something was tearing,

the baby head,
is lower where it should be,
but the doctor said it is best
to hold it in until she felt relieved.
well she didn't,
and we have to do it again tonight...

should i listen to the doctor?
is this going to effect my daughter?
