I never had a problem before in the past. I am about a week late. I have been having crazy cycles tho for the lastmonth. I have a dr. appointment but it is not until the 15th - hard to get into my female dr. she is extremely busy. I am just afraid that I am because I don't feel my bf or my family will believe that I been taking the pill. But like I said I have been - and been on it for about 4 or 5 years. I don't want to take a test I am way to scared. I am afraid to lose my family and my bf over this situation.

Yes. First pregnancy-Conceived while using condoms.
Second pregnancy-Conceived while on the patch.
Third pregnancy-conceived while on the Nuva Ring.
4th pregnancy-Conceived on an IUD.

My first and last pregnancies ended in miscarriages but my 2nd and third pregnancies gave me 2 beautiful daughters.

Yes, it is possible to become pregnant, but it's not that likely. That's why they say it is 95 or 99% effective. Certain medications, like antibiotics, can have an effect on birth control and you may be able to become pregnant while taking these pills very easily. So, if you are on antibiotics (or any other medication that may have such an effect, just ask your Dr. beforehand) then you may need to use extra protection. And even if you take the pills at the right time each day and never miss and are taking NO other medications, you could become pregnant, but that is rare, so it is not something you should really worry about unless you just absolutely do not want to take the chance. Many people use other protection along with birth control if they are not ready for a child.

It is very possible...I am pregnant and I was on the pill too....trust me last thing we expected. Stop taking it!! It can cause problems with the baby if you are, just use a condom or something instead. Do that until your period comes and goes, I would mention this to the doc at the apt. Perhaps you need a different hormone level, nothing more. My sister didn't have a period for 5 months on the wrong hormone level, we all thought she was prego....but no, just the wrong pill.

I know you are scared, but take a pregnancy test, if nothing else it will ease your mind, or confirm your suspicions...

Yes it can happen. I am pregnant with our 2nd child and I was on the pill and I took it everyday at the same time. 10:00 PM. If you are afraid of getting pregnant don't have sex. It is the only 100% way of not getting pregnant.

Yes you can become pregnant if your on Birth Control. I had this happen to a couple of my friends. If you didn't take birth control the same time everyday or even skip a few days that may be the cause to why you got pregnant.

Yes and you really should get a check-up and a bc adjustment every 2 years...

If you've been on bc for the last 4-5 years.. why are you so concerned all of a sudden?

YES, no contraceptive is 100% effective, not even condoms (they are really good at preventing VD spread). Only not having sex is 100% effective lol
